Premium Member Why Are There Stars, Mommy

Why are there stars, Mommy?
What kind of stars, my child?
You know, Mommy, sticker stars, five-pointed stars and snowflakes.
Well, how about movie stars and TV stars and sports stars too, my child?
Oh, I don't know, Mommy. Besides, I asked you first: Why are there stars?

OK, you did ask first. So, I guess I'll have to answer, not that it's easy ...

Well, each star has its own unique -- style, my child. They may be as
numerous as the sands on the seashore, as God told Abraham, yet each is
a bit different from the others, ... in size, perhaps, or color or shape, or
  even purpose or destiny,...

for you see, they're kind of like us in that way, aren't they?
We're all unique, all 7 billion of us earthlings. Yet each of us has a
different mission, a different purpose, a different reason for being
    here. So, too, the stars...

Yet somehow there's something more to the stars, something deeper,
isn't there, my child? ~ Yes! God made those very first lights, those
original lights of the stars like our Sun, for our Sun is a star, SO dazzling,
SO incomprehensibly bright, that He had to hide that light from us
for a while, for generations and generations, even unto our very own day

~ until we would grow in stature to be able to receive ... to receive and
see... to receive and see, and welcome! … with open arms -- with all
our heart, with all our soul, and with all our might -- that special light

~ For that light, my child, that starlight, is God's very own Light,
The Light of the Creator of the Universe Himself.

And now you know why there are stars, my child.

Premium Member Declaration of My Love

My dearest one, come hold me close and hold me tight.
Kiss me softly, with tenderness come kiss me light,
We'll wander in our garden, all scented with thyme
For I have given you my heart for all my time.

As the red blood moon smiles and shines above full bright
My heart flies high above like a colourful kite.
We'll wander in our garden, all scented with thyme
For I have given you my heart for all my time.

The high brilliant stars above shine and twinkle white,
And I declare my total love with all my might.
We'll wander in our garden, all scented with thyme
For I have given you my heart for all my time.

We'll make love and vouch for our vows with all our might,
In the heart of darkness, we'll enjoy our sweet night.

Premium Member Call to Worship

Let's praise the Lord with all our might
together as we do His will.
May we be worthy in His sight.

As we in His great love delight
and in our own sweet closeness thrill,
Let's praise the Lord with all our might.

Let's shun the darkness, seek the light.
Of joy and peace, He’ll grant our fill.
May we be worthy in His sight.

Let's spread the word God's ways are right
and do for others good, not ill.
Let's praise the Lord with all our might.

Let's thank the Lord each day and night;
for, though we fail, He loves us still.
May we be worthy in His sight.

Rewards for saints in Heaven bright
were purchased on Golgotha's Hill.
Let's praise the Lord with all our might.
May we be worthy in His sight.

Premium Member Friends of a Summer Night

Buried deep between the cracks,
a photograph from yesterday,
I hold it now, within my hand,
as if between the hills and hollows
a childhood bond that we once borrowed
can take me back to days of old

Who am I when I see your face?
One glance and I am me again
A side of me I might forget
comes flooding back like summer rain
refreshing dusty old refrains
that come with smiles, and not of sorrow
I'll hold within today, ... tomorrow..

Who am I when I look close?
The child in me is born again
A "me" I thought I'd tucked away
Until I cast my eyes and see
Two chums two friends, who used to be

In your face, a trace of me
is still alive, a younger me who worshiped you
who looked into the summer night
and made a wish, while you did too,
and promised stars with all our might,
that we would never drift apart

But life moves on, and so did we,
beyond the wish we made long nights
when we held our hands, and felt a bond
as young friends do,...perhaps beyond
We sat upon the old porch floor
In the chill of summer nights
and drew upon the heat that leaked
beneath the threshold of the door

Our eyes would struggle through the dark
to skies so sodden with the stars
Our childhood friendship is a bond
that returns to me in darker times
it whittles away the cruelest tears
and through the years, you come to me
and by the hand you still take me
back to the land of "used to be"

New Light

Since you've come into my life,
You've shown me a New Light....

Day after Day,
And Night after Night,
It still shines very bright....

You've brought me so much love, joy and hope,
That my heart took flight....

If loving and being with you is wrong,
Honey I promise,
I Don't Every Won't To Be Right....

Yet nothing worth while in Life is Easy,
Everyday there's a constant battle or fight... (Good)

At the end of the day, we still stand tall,
For we've given All Our Might.....

Our time together is sheer pleasure,
And A Wonderful Delight.....

With Determination, Faith and God,
I know that we shall be All Right.....

Premium Member The Quiet Assassin - the Fight For Our Lives

Tension palpable, one can cut it with a knife
As the quiet assassin glides with unfettered ease,
Wreaking mayhem, misery and strife,
Choosing victims from anyone he sees.

No border, boundary, wall to hold
This wily master of his trade,
His mere presence causing misery untold,
Scant protection from his voracious blade.

We can but hold our loved ones tight
In private prayer and contemplation,
Hoping, wishing with all our might
To yet defeat this aberration.

Is this punishment deserved,
Are we the ones to hold the blame
For having nature so disturbed,
For playing God in all but name.

Do we now reap what we have sown,
Our failing clear for all to see,
Could we truly not have known
And simply left our Earth just be.

Navarathri

In the heart of autumn's grace, we find,
A festival of colors, radiant and kind.
Navaratri, the nine nights of delight,
Where we celebrate, with all our might.

Goddess Saraswathi, she takes her throne,
With her veena's song, wisdom's own.
A river of knowledge, in her divine form,
With a gentle smile, she does transform.

Her blessings pour, like a monsoon rain,
Filling our minds, dispelling all pain.
In books and in arts, we find our muse,
With her guidance, we never lose.

Saraswathi's grace, a celestial embrace,
Her wisdom and knowledge, we seek to chase.
In the world of letters, she's the queen,
In her presence, we find the unseen.

The air hums with chants, the incense swirls,
As we offer our devotion, our spirits unfurl.
Nine nights of worship, devotion pure,
In her name, our hearts find the cure.

Navaratri's magic, a tapestry of light,
A celebration of knowledge, shining bright.
In the goddess of wisdom, we find our way,
On this special festival, we joyfully sway.

Premium Member Get It Flying

This time may we get it right

Another day does come
Still we are all thumbs

Is getting this done right
Really going to be our blight

Another chance is all we ask
Leave other tries in the past

Stop wait are we going to fast
Another let down have we cast

Oh my what a beautiful sight
Finally we learn to fly a kite

Pheasant Hunt

When I can barely see the sun, I put on my clothes and get out the shot gun.
My bird dog is my shadow all full of excitement and love because he knows he'll soon be
able to run.
We load in the truck and drive to the site where we hunt pheasant with all our might.
My dog is my best friend. He knows me well, as he flushed up a rooster and the first one fell.
When we come home all tired and sore, we know the next day we'll be ready for more.
It doesn't matter how much time we spend, as there's nothing better than hunting with my
best friend.

Dad

If only we could have you back Dad, just for one more day
To hold you in our arms once more before you went away
To tell you how we love you, how we know you loved us too
How no man in this world will ever take the place of you

Dad you were our anchor, our rock, our shining knight
The man we all depend upon and love with all our might
Always we will picture you sitting in your chair
Coffee, paper, football...how we wish you were still there

Whenever you were told another grandchild’s on the way
The frown upon your face would speak the words you’d never say
But when each newborn grandchild in your loving arms was placed
The look of unconditional love was there upon your face

Precious memories linger and tears will gently flow
For the Granddad with the sweets...the Granddad who never said no
Always there for each of us, you always made us smile
And knowing we were happy seemed to make your life worthwhile

You filled our lives with happiness, we filled your heart with pride
But now we walk this unknown path without you by our side
Those who never met you will feel they know you too
For part of you will live in us in everything we do

Forever we will miss your voice, your laugh, your smiling face
Forever we will miss the Dad we never will replace
It’s hard to let you go Dad for we never said goodbye
Now you’re an Angel in God’s Heaven, high above the sky

Dad, you'll live forever in the stories that we share,
In every laugh, in every tear, we feel your presence there,
Though Heaven called you far away, you're never truly gone,
For in our hearts you'll always be, still guiding us along

But sometimes when we’re all alone
And feel all hope is gone...
I know we’ll hear you whisper...
"kids just smile...and carry on”...

Our Dad...our hero ***

Heroic Loyalty

Along the many battle lines, lie bodies scattered so
For war had raged, taking men, and boys that had to go
As officers and leaders stayed behind, to make for them a choice
The men who loyally followed them, all screamed with bloody voice

“Through the mud, dodging the fire, explosions now surround
We fight for you oh country, through loyalty we’re bound
We’ll never pull any punches; we’ll fight with all our might
Rest assured, for you, dear country, we will die or live to fight”

But, to the very many, that suffer injury and pain
Those that come back to us, some will never walk again
The loyalty they demonstrated, through battle on the field
Is the very type of loyalty we Americans should wield

Too many of our fighting men, suffer gravely, suffering loss
They truly are our heroes, they’ve paid their vital cost
So we shouldn’t turn upon them or away from them this day
We owe them more, so very much and we should now repay

Claim Your Rights

She claimed her rights as a young lady
And in the coming years a woman
She don’t want to be an endangered species hunted by violence daily
She got rights too…she’s a human
Stand against this bliss
Gender Base Violence a sure diss
No more verbal abuse, emotional abuse or physical abuse
It’s your rights to reject abuse, so claim it, good news
You can only be his victim
Only if you allow yourselves to be used by him
You’re no longer going to be told…shut up!
You’re worthless, or what you say is meaningless…Just stop!
Or you’re stupid or call you names to graphic to repeat
After that, he says he loves you you’re so sweet
Well, decide today…that behavior is unacceptable
The truth comes before the love…Whether Sharon, Susan or Mable
Cause if he truly love you
He won’t want to abuse you
Are my words credible, Gender Base Violence become a label
Let’s take action and fight with all our might
“Claim your Rights”

Premium Member Life's Inspirations

I crave for them through sprays of light
To see the vignettes in my mind
Their warm love hugs me day or night

Inside a chalet large and bright
I relive heart’s joys so entwined
I crave for them through sprays of light

My grandma's laughter soft and sprite
My grandpa's face, firm yet kind
Their warm love hugs me day or night

Those bedtime stories fill my sight
Hide-and- seek thrills, now hard to find
I crave for them through sprays of light

We pluck sweet fruits with all our might
Till weak trees fade with old age grind
Their warm love hugs me day or night

These souvenirs of life’s blessed flight
Finds me clinging to years all signed
I crave for them through sprays of light
Their warm love hugs me day or night.

Who Has Inspired You Most In Life
For Brenda- Chiri-Carroll...1/4/2017

Theme of the Pyramid Scheme

Creationist scientists who dig
with astro-paleontologists
As they seek the bones
Of australepithecus

Foretold in the Book of Leviticus
& the Dead Sea Scrolls
Sounded by the deadly tolls
From the bells

Harbored in the Vatican,
Those who mistake the accidents
For the sake of unholy laxatives
To be forced in controlling the pacifists

10% of your income,
& then some
The cross holds one
For ransom

It doesn't matter if your
Beautiful or handsome
Since, the endless chasms
Flood like restless cytoplasm

Induced by the
Phantom's iconoclasm
As the masses reduce
To being merely a bantam

Docile & trite,
This isn't right

What's done in the dark,
Must be brought to the light

Stand up, & fight
For the right,
Rise with all our might
& working through the nights

New World Order plights
Will never bring a fright

Fear no evil,
See no evil,
Speak no evil

They're all just weasels
Being painted on the easel

With the colors of greed & lust
Nobody to trust
But, yourself
As one must

In order to be just
With one & all
& all in one
