Thats a nice lesson to learn (: I cant wait to teach my niece, though I'm sure theres many more lessons she has to learn first lol. Like Bob said below, I see both lessons here. Thanks for all your comments, and for sharing your beautiful poetry

Really going to be a fight... sounds better to me... lol I remember fighting to get the kite in the air... Sometimes it was difficult. Well a very nice poem there Carol. I have been busy lately. I have some positive news though. 2 of my poems have been published in poetry books. lol

This is great. I took my kids out to fly kites a month ago and every one question the wind and I told them I can get them up and I did. My children had a blast till the tree got jealous and stole one of the kites.

this brings me back to when i first learned how to fly a kite. i like this poem. I remember messing up and can't wait untill i get it next time. Nice poem

flying a kite, or just trying to do anything, when we're able to accomplish it we feel high get to enjoy the sky. lovely poem carol :)
