An Autumn Portrait of Beauty

On this quite beautiful and most radiant Autumn day,
I marvel at Mother Nature’s smile of silent pulchritude,
As I make a loving glance at such luscious scenery today,
In this country scene—a glorious gift of God’s certitude!

The trees and their fallen amber leaves adorn this Earth,
As a shimmering reflection pervades from a green pond,
Of Nature’s wonder with colors arrayed in a sacred rebirth,
Affirming God’s heavenly promise true and His holy bond!

This view of trees, grass, leaves, and a shadow near the pond,
Captures the glory and grace from God’s colored-palette a true,
That affirms His desire of rendering this beauty from beyond,
And I thank Him from my heart with joy and blessings so true!

Yes, God doth paint this world with such love for all to see,
His Autumn portrait here is of unparalleled artistry and grace,
That I interpret as a heavenly-made moment for all of us to be,
As I reaffirm the beauty of Nature’s gift in this wondrous place!

Love Is Our Prize

Love is our prize, for we are true,
Thus beats my heart, so claim your eyes,
When in unison two souls coo
As night romantic blushes skies.

How stars twinkle, moon glistens highs,
When Venus grins, charming our view,
While she affirms, as passions rise;
Love is our prize, for we are true.

For long it’s been, just me and you,
Feeling blissful when dreams surmise:
Our love's real, meant for just few;
Thus beats my heart, so claim your eyes.

We rejoice kinship love implies
As fervid vibes of romance woo,
While hearts echo our cheerful cries
When in unison two souls coo.

Sharing secrets, we barely knew,
Grim past we shed held in disguise
And moving forth, vows we renew,
As night romantic blushes skies.

Love genuine will not surprise,
Hosting harmony, tuned anew,
Ensuring souls strum as allies;
When hearts synchronize, as we do,
Love is our prize.

Premium Member I Believe

I believe God exists with all of my heart
and I pray His Spirit will never depart.
For my soul recognizes that He is Divine,
with infinite wisdom I cannot define.

A void in my heart is filled with His Being,
for faith affirms, I believe without seeing.
And through miracles of conception and birth,
eternal souls get to experience Earth.

While working through others, His love is revealed,
His Presence in their hearts cannot be concealed.
And my soul senses His hand extends to all,
one need but ask, and He'll help any that call.

He lives in my heart, influencing my fate
His message is love, never anger or hate.
And His love's too real to merely dismiss,
His Spiritual Presence fills me with bliss.

Premium Member Earthy Glow On a Farmland

Sometime, in July's budding charm
when the harvest of earth's clay affirms
that which exposes a content heart,
I remember a glimpse of rare delight
accepting the slow exposure of one morn
when daylight warms Grandpa’s hands
soaked in earthy glow on his farmland.

A rumbling wind turns amiable,
as bamboo drifts along lush curls
glossing the husk of our fond whispers,
oh, it is as simple as that:
his gaiety becomes an answered prayer
tasting the bliss of simple favors
bestowed by a yield of cornfields
reflecting the thrill of labor harnessed.

In a flash, I watch Gramps' hat flying
like a kite across a wispy sky,
my innocence releases a laughter’s dance
playful and blithe at age seven,
while he, born from fruits of life
ripens still, on his golden year with ease.

Premium Member I Wait

Shadows of yesterday, eclipse reality,
while in hopes, lie my dreams;
mired in doubt and frustration, I'm left waiting.
Waiting for love's elusive touch, I indulge in pleasures
that are never enough; I'm always wanting more.
And as fledgling feelings flex
impatient wings: I wait.

When desire morphs into lust
and love gets consigned to dreams,
Life affirms that the lies have won over truth.
And I'm left waiting
for a better tomorrow, that's so close;
yet unattainable.
So again, I wait.

Failure deflates inflated egos,
allowing time for thoughts to gestate.
Happiness can't thrive chained to tears,
and yet, it's essential to make love real.
So once more, I wait.

It doesn't help to cry when steeped in hurt,
for that too, shall pass:
and I'll do what I've always done,
wipe away my tears, and wait.

My whole life is spent waiting:
waiting for that perfect someone, the right moment,
the time, the inclination,
and the willpower: to do something,
anything, other than wait!

To Soar

Gone are the days of childlike hope and dreams.
Our tender years were cast on life's broad streams.
Rich mem'ries float on waters still serene,
while thoughts drift past the seasons in-between.

That final bend of river not yet seen,
we set out seeking vistas new and clean,
where aging frame and psyche' still burn bright,
made strong and sharp as blades in morning's light.

We'd dream and see realities yet new.
Our aging forms, set free, would test as true
those aptitudes and skills not proved since youth.
The vision, quite sublime, has become truth.

We'd run the race as when young, full of drive,
to sense a new resolve, to feel alive.
The blood and air would surge deep in our chest,
hearts striving one more time to be the best.

Perhaps, we'd stand on mountain tops and view
our world and all its peoples kind and true.
If foes of that time bid earth-mates good will,
we'd aim from common fate all strife to still.

And, when the course of each life had been run,
we'd pray wise God affirms all was well done,
while setting each soul free from fated slings
he bids us soar on air that yields to wings.

Across the valleys and far-reaching hills
the spirit of man to this day remains…
keepers of liberty guard one covenant
though battles rage across the earth
like deep markings from time past--
yet the global village rises ever boldly
from the lunges of imperial greed.

Until the drums rumble an anthem,
with an elixir that pours a sacred mark
kindling the warriors’ grit, renewed
from their legendary descendants’ wail:
That a collective language rings
a most powerful voice that affirms
one timeless creed … “peace begins with me,”
reaching far out beyond all heaven’s skies,

as spirit of brotherhood thrives within … free.

She still paces around the churchyard
without a hat on her blown tresses;
an autumn cloak rustling beneath a gray cloudscape
that somehow, her eyes wander on,
not because she relishes the flick
of icy leaves...not because silk orchids lay
on a marbled cross: rather,
her thoughts gather among dry thistles to wail
upon a crypt nestled by life’s hammock of dust.

The lull from breezes affirms such quietude
of her beloved now resting on potter’s field,
sealed by the finality of death : this instant crash
through night's byway pinning him down down the abyss...

And the mist spills into another hour
unrelenting in bowed silence,
as if he loved her essence more in ghastly ruins.

God - Good, Bad Or Neutral

Not a single person is happy on earth
Still we praise God for his bountiful love and worth
If God were all powerful as everyone affirms
Why doesn't he end all our problems and confirms

So many die of hunger, so many unwell
Every one suffering, for many life is a hell
If he were a true father, he should find this unbearable
With true love his actions are no way comparable

Scriptures state we suffer for our sins
Because God gave us free will we sin
When we sin he watches without stopping us
Either he lacks power or doesn't care about us

God is heartless and merciless of all
Every sin we do punishment does befall
Sinners he will never acquit
No one can sin and get away with it

What I feel I am telling you
God is as helpless as me and you
If not helpless at least moody for sure
Not all you ask you will get I am sure

I feel God is neither bad nor good
He is a mere spectator doing what he should
He is doing it all maybe for livelihood
His role is definitely misunderstood

Premium Member Wicked Lady

On our bed she sits
Laced, bare to her skin
Pouting lips excite me
Teasing begins

Her tongue tastes the air
In a lusting roll
Through the lace I see ripe
My heart extols

Each moment she moves
I capture a pertness so firm
My eyes in delight
As my body affirms

She bows her head
Turns and looks
As soon as I view
Entranced, I'm hooked

Towards her I walk
Slow steps at a time
Nearing her beauty
Admiring sublime

I stand before she
Man that I am
To my knees I fall
As I become her lamb

Hands meet skin
Touching with kissing
Eyes momentarily meet
Knowing their wishing

The lace I gently pull
Revealing tanned soft skin
Desiring now affects me
To love her from within

Our bodies gently meet
Side by side we face and kiss
Loving moments captured
It's time to grace our bliss

Silk sheets endorse our rhythm
As we release undulating waves
In unison we share
Our sensuous inner craves

Premium Member Walking In the Shadow of the Lord

A constant companion since way back when,
He's my savior. Amen.
Because my heart he does engross,
I'm in His shadow we're so close.

I've seen His movements in the world;
Seen His works--His wonders unfurled.
I've beheld the magic of August moon,
Smelled rose on summer afternoon.

I've read His ancient word, still true,
I've looked to endless skies, still blue.
Heavenly Father, on bended knee,
I lift my eyes and look to Thee.

Yes, heard His voice whisper in the wood;
Been His child since babyhood.
A love that shines brightly forevermore;
I've heard His knock upon the door.

I've glimpsed His figure in the fog;
We've been engaged in dialogue.
Yes, the minister affirms with a nod,
How amazing is God!

I've participated in the holy rites,
Beheld the stars on Christmas nights,
And seen things grandiose--
I'm in His shadow we're so close.

Another Man's Wife

In love I was lost
I plunged headlong
Oblivious of the consequences
For she was fair to behold
E’en fairer than the lily of the garden

She took me by my hand
And together we strolled
We explored the new frontiers of love
My company she greatly adored
Until she couldn’t break free
From the spell of love
Cast on her by fate
Uhm! It’s amazing what love can do

Damning the consequences
I forged ahead with my newfound love
Paradise was unraveled before me
An adventure of some sort it seemed
“Give it a try,” I urged myself
Shutting my mind deliberately to the odds

For if she had known
Then she wouldn’t have allowed me
Entry into her life
But her actions defies all explanation
Void envelopes her being in my absence
What had suddenly come over her?
In so short a while

When she laughed, I laughed
When I cried, she cried as well
The blissful times we shared were dear
Held close to my heart like a testament
“Could anything be this cherished?” I thought
Life definitely seemed very good

She withdrew at certain times
Not because she was through with me, nay!
But she remembers her Man-the Man
“You cannot understand,” she tells me
“You cannot understand,” she affirms
I am another Man’s wife

Like a thief in the night
Her man came
The show he stole
For he had cut short his journey
Unannounced he strolled into the scene
After all he owned the show
He assumes his manly duties once again
Giving her love and succor as it were
He was the man, I was a villain

I was soon relegated to the rear
Despondency and dejection became my theme song
Jealousy I spat out like bile
No one would empathize my shattered heart
For I was warned before hand
Not to fall in love with
Another Man’s wife.

The Word of Eternal God
Which is the power of Eternal God for salvation to everyone who has faith
Is set forth
Displays its power in a most wonderful way in the writings of the New Testament
Which hand on the ultimate truth of Eternal God’s Revelation
Their central object is Jesus or Father Christ
Eternal God’s incarnate Son
His acts
Teachings
Mission and glorification
His Church’s beginnings under the spirit’s guidance

The Gospels are the heart of all Scriptures
Because they are our principal source for the life
Teaching of the incarnate Word
Our Savior

We can distinguish three stages in the formation of the Gospels

The life and teaching of Jesus or Father Christ
The Church holds firmly that the four Gospels
Whose historicity she unhesitatingly affirms
Faithfully hand on what Jesus
The Eternal Son of Eternal God
While He lived among men
Really did and taught for their salvation
Until the day when He was taken up

The oral tradition
For
After the ascension of the Lord
The apostles handed onto their hearers what they had said and done
But with fuller understanding which they
Instructed by the glorious events of Father Christ
Enlightened by the spirit of truth
Now enjoyed

The written Gospels
The sacred authors
In writing the four gospels
Selected certain of the many elements which had been handed on
Either orally or already in written form
Others they senthesized or explained with an eye to the situation of the Churches
While sustaining the form of preaching
But always in such a fashion that they have told us the honest truth about Jesus

The fourfold Gospel holds a unique place in the Church
As is evident both in the veneration which the liturgy accords it
In surpassing attraction it has exercised on the saints at all times

There is no doctrine which could be better
More precious
More splendid than the text of the Gospel
Behold and retain what our Lord and Master
Father Christ
Has taught by His words and accomplished by His deeds

But above all it’s the Gospels that occupy my mind when I’m at prayer
My poor soul has so many needs
Yet this is the one thing needful
I’m always finding fresh lights there
Hidden and enthralling meanings

A Simple Happy

Adrift, a-meadow in spring color,
Daisy, daffodil, dandelion,
A signal flag wrinkles and flaps with motion;
Awash, a-drizzle dazzle of rain.
A girl floats to the tides current
Happy to hale the freedom of her new skirt
Happy to wave in high air, so pretty.
Cotton dyed, swishing to and fro to rise
With fall and jump jump each skip

The streetlight beacon beckons:
Twilight light approaches, roars
To subdue the bright colors.
She rounds the sound, the curbside corner
And runs down the street,
Smiles line porches as “happy sailing”
affirms kind porch-side mothers

Twilight meadows become bedewed
Not by Marching drizzle but rather
Drain down streets to storm-drains in April fashion
Thunder cracks and the skirt
Safely ties herself down to the home-harbor
Breeze billowing flapping skirt:
A-ruffling akin to spinning in a springy summer field
