Furious with Zeus, a vengeful Hera searched the world
Until she discovered the most amazing young girl

~~A Native American with hair dark as the night
Atop a white steed she traversed mountains snowy white~~

“Let there be stardust,” the Goddess proclaimed with force
And the woman was stunned, soaring on a flying horse

“Let there be rain,” Hera chose to give her power
The girl rode above clouds, below her rain did shower

Forever Rain on Stardust would travel through the sky
With the powers of a Goddess as she rode on high

To shower blessings of rain on villages so dry
Rain sees the past and future, though she does not know why

The outcome surely not as Hera had intended
Zeus became enamored of Rain’s presence so splendid

He kissed the sky beneath her with bright rainbow arches
Today you still see them wherever Stardust marches

A Goddess rides now, but sweet Rain was once just human
And she remains bewildered by her own acumen

Olympian rulers outdone by their creation
For Rain and Stardust yet win human acclamation

Mindfully Enjoying the Moment

When mind is in the moment, thoughtlessness prevails"
~
Keep your mind away from thoughts that rebound
Hear the mesmerizing melodic music of surround
Bask in the bewitching beauteous objects that astound
Sense all the sensations you skin has sensed around
Inhale the myriad magnetic fragrances floating around
Experience boundless bounteous bliss of God abound

Mindfulness leads to cessation
Of thoughts, the causation
Of our miseries, our vexation

Mindfulness makes us aware of creation
Leading to captivation
Then to our admiration
And acclamation
Of love of God flowing without cessation

When thoughts end
Vibrations ascend
We transcend

The body
Situated in Samadhi
experiences bliss eternal
Sees soul internal

Attains salvation
Instant elation
To final destination

Carolyn's imagination could soar like no one I have ever read, bringing the reader along on a magical journey! I firmly conclude, she sits, even now, upon her White Stallion, visiting all the wonders she imagined, bestowing us all with her love, as she always signed off her comments with.

True Grit - Assata Shakur

The acclamation Assata Shakur received came from her political activism.
Acclimation from a political asylum was not that easy.
Yet, the ease of acceptance was aes in the political world.
A wraith of admiration was given rathe.
Esprit de corps areally existed.
Aerial Assata was in focus.
Visionary to the cause and appose to the needs of others, she was not opposed to the
     struggles that manifested.
Assata Shakur is the essence of true grit.

Come By the Sword Die By the Sword

The Bard of the Norseman
A warrior’s fame and for glory all Norseman live worthy of life
Worthy the Norseman with warring axe to victory and spilt Saxon blood
For spoils of the serpent’s lair lie across the whale’s road
Far from the girls in the houses they love
Seeking a quest these warriors of Oden -always the dream for a bard’s song
Now set sail upon a journey –a glorious adventure- a hunting do they go
Do steer the battered sea-steed adorned by dragon’s head and tail
Endure the breaker of trees from artic northern hail
Skid the waves and endure towards a foreign mystical shore
Below a pallid sky-candle and darkening gray dim light
Nebulous rains doth hinder the rudderman’s impeded sight
Till at last the first oarsman peers across the misty horizon
Mystical panorama- calls acclamation unto Oden- makes call of reached land
These feeders of ravens rave honor into Oden
Lord of the gallows hath made the glory of the elves to shine
Down upon warriors the sun makes glisten- their metal horn helmets and shields
Set afoot to feed the eagles-prey on either Christian or druid-with a wounding-hoe
Seeking untold fame and glory and carry back a dragon’s hoard load
To brighten the battle-sweat of those made conquered
And sing unto Oden- tell their tales- make legends of victors
Believing Valhella's glory to come thus hunting they do go
Doth all Norseman perform deeds of valor with axe victory and slaughter-dew
So did live the Vikings Danes Anglo Saxons who wore warded blue

As Autumn Unfolds

Summer wearily sighed then softly closed her door.
For three months she lingered, and now she'd slumber
while Fall lays a carpet of leaves upon the forest floor.
Her winds gather them together, in profuse number,
bronze, russet and crimson, all fringed in burnt umber.

In a cloudless sky, the cry of migrating birds is heard,
flying to a warmer climate as Autumn begins to unfold.
When Nature births a new season, changes are spurred.
A saffron sun warms the Earth with fingers of gold,
and a harvest moon ascends; glorious sights to behold.

Autumn days are emblazoned with dazzling coloration,
painting vibrant scenes like no other season can bestow.
I welcome her annual arrival with joyous acclamation,
knowing the nights will be filled with starlight aglow
before Winter laces the landscape with flakes of snow.

President Elect Alexandria Ocasio Cortez 2024

President Elect Alexandria Ocasio Cortez - 2024

Circa...Approximately one month
following her thirty fifth birthday
October 13th, 2024
AOC became the first
female commander in chief,
and youngest person ever

to assume Oval Office
amidst landslide victory
among competing candidates
ousting current establishment incumbent,
elected to serve United States
despite being neophyte,

she received most
votes of any contender
since founding of Democracy
to assume modestly furnished
Capitol Hill - Washington
District of Columbia

most powerful post
within the United States
immediately electrifying North America
with her megawatt smile
crackling, snapping, and popping
with positivity, integrity, energy...

Deafening applause swept across nation
upon ascending dais prior to uttering one word,
she immediately wowed
darling of the hour received standing ovation
across greensward donned bajillion crowd
cheering, imploring, pumping...

green sleeved fists acclamation
action speaking decibels
louder than words bowed
young lady brought to genuine tears,
asper bona fide accreditation
understandable that newly

minted ma'am felt proud
to stride rite, (an air of modest
confidence) did enshroud,
sans an angelic halo augmenting
as optimistic words heard aloud

heralded sincere charming, intimating,
radiating... no frills accustomation
as if pledging troth to every citizen
(inclusive every flora and fauna) vowed
to steer ship of state toward ecologically,
environmentally, essentially...activation

away from fossil fuels shifting energy
consumption vis a vis alternate modalities
sow rejuvenation plowed
back into Earth prioritizing monied allocation
(dollar amount well worth investment) actualization,
where future generations will be grateful

to dead recent forebears for gift endowed
worth more than fine spun gold regarding
preservation of Gaia, how *****sapiens adaptation
made existence for all living creatures
(animals, plants, even this fungi) healthier allowed
populace to breathe easy and rest assured

quality of life for billions (ushering universal
family planning), despite tense adjudication,
especially when linkedin with
nuclear warheads disavowed,
but eventually kickstarted synergistic administration.

Arachne's Triumph

You cause my breath to still
Arachne.
Your handiwork of splendid intricacy
Suspended from the armpits of nature,
vividly displayed through the unfolding mist,
holds me in this moment.
Adornments of the ancient bushland,
Your labour of survival, purposefully created,
Surpass any mortal attempts of mimicry.
Mocking Minerva’s intention of entrapment
You continue triumphantly
Weaving delicate decorations,
Catching acclamation afresh.

My Dear Poets, My Dear Friends

A Poet may think, he or she is good
A Poet may write of daffodils of white,
or a roaring stream, capped, enraged
running for a quiet place, a solemn place

A Poet may dream of higher aspirations
of floating on clouds of powder cotton candy
while riding a Bull, in it's stride to rid the rider
then turn suddenly, to a field of umber wheat

A Poet may wish for greater things to come
when in reality, wealth will only come when
The Poet is dead and gone, more remembered
in death, than in life so aimlessly lost

A Poet may think they are at their best
in younger years, when thoughts are fresh
new, and easily come by, yet form experience
I find that not to be true, This is what I have found,

A True Poet is wise, whether from age or the
experiences they have lived, and died for,
A true Poet, Has a heart, Lives their heart
and can tell their Heart from all others,

I am a Published Poet, yet I am a Poet
I am a Poet Laurette, yet I am a Poet,
I am an International Poet Laurette,
To me,I am just a Poet, with a Heart

With all my Kudos and all my friends,
the Kudos I have thrown in a trunk,
My Poet Friends I hold dear, I say this
Do not write for acclamation, Indeed no!

That will truly, only come upon death,
Write from the Personal, your Love,
Your Heart, Your Heart break, Lust
Desires, Lorne, Beauty, Ugliness

These things a Poet makes, Not Glory
Not Fame, Not institution, Heart....
Write of yourself, Your weaknesses,
Your Strengths, Your Desires..... You!

You will come to know who you are
others will come to know you,
Your Fame will come to be in that which
you tell, And you will have PEACE!

I have Learned.... God Bless all my Poet Friends...... Live .... God Bless you all!!!!

Scientific Exemplification

Through realization
 of observation,
one arrives at a presupposition.
Then, greater mental organization
of the addition
of information
makes a transition
to speculation,
which stimulates further inquisition.

By definition
this is cognition,
which follows knowledge accumulation.

Next, proposition
of explanation
made from the data’s interrelation
is the leap into extrapolation.
Investigation –
prerequisition
for its condition
of affirmation –
remains vital for its validation.

Verification
through repetition,
beyond the point of exasperation,
and demonstration
will merit its serious admission
and acclamation.

Last should come equation formulation.

In Praise of Ebeneezer Scrooge

In Praise of Ebeneezer Scrooge

By Elton Camp

Poor Ebeneezer Scrooge all despise
There was much about him to prize

He worked daily hard and long
Such a man can’t be very wrong

Money he didn’t throw away
But saved it for a rainy day

A person with such belief
Won’t come to be on relief

Saving coal was a solution
To London’s air pollution

Two workers he employed
So poverty they could avoid

He ran a business to buy & sell
Helped the economy to do well

Erect a statue to his acclamation
A better man before “reformation”

Phil Davenport

RAF navigator Ron Day and I took of from Banff, Scotland,
I was in the RAAF, an Australian, and we flew in formation:
40 Mosquitos to attack German ships in Norway land,
In a harbour, Porsgrunn, but then came an acclamation.

“Bandits three o’clock! “, and so we did not strike a ship,
But broke away left and flew ’til I spotted sand on a beach,
But as i got closer realised it was Norwegian ice, no quip,
So the landing damaged us, plane and all, but we did reach.

After unjamming my leg, i paddled up to the surface,
With relief saw Ron afloat in his life jacket, life raft burst;
We felt mentally and physically numb and did brace,
We struggled, but heard a man from a boat shout in lust.

The farmers carried and cared for us, or cared for Ron,
But they told me “Germans come,” so we left by a pony,
I sat and shivered in the cart, then took a car to Oslo bon,
Our uniforms were yellow stained by the lake, very shabby.

We were then taken to hospital, but i ended up in prison,
And on Monday the 30th of April 1945 Hitler killed himself,
And we knew informally we were free, def by the elision,
When a guard gently touched my back, himself to shelf.

That was when the war in Europe was over for me, then,
But we had to await official victory when RAF men came,
However, before that, just to be sure, we left for the glen,
‘Cos the Luftwaffe general was contradicting the game.

We got back to London and i left for Australia on Orion,
And the celebrations would’ve lost control for alcohol,
‘Cos I’d found out that my brothers were alive and on:
We birthed, the collective mind reacted, but not us all.

Premium Member 8400 Miles Nonstop

The bar-tailed godwit
caught birddom by surprise
When word got out
just how far this bird flies

A juvenile Limosa lapponica,
satellite tag 2-3-4-6-8-4
flew nonstop from Alaska
to the Tasmanian shore!
13,560 kilometers nonstop,
eleven days and nights
A new world record for
marathon bird flights

"From Alaska to Tasmania?
The devil, you say!"
cried ravens and crows,
"Every bird knows,
claiming to fly 8400 miles
To the Tasmanian isles—
is the height of audacity!
No bird has the capacity
We protest with pugnacity
Demanding veracity!"

The godwits conveyed
a very chill groove
They had, after all
nothing to prove
having set the prior
world records in '20 and '21
A controversy was brewing
Would their achievements
be undone?

A commission was appointed
for a bird's-eye review
into the facts of the matter
the truth to pursue
Wise owls were chosen
to adjudicate this claim
To settle once and for all
who deserved the acclaim

Only item considered
had scientific backing
Since satellite data
Allowed accurate tracking
Of the tagged young bird's
ultramarathon flights
The facts indisputable
No need for bird fights,
ending investigation into
this migration gyration

Bar-tailed godwits awarded
the Oiseau de Plume
for being the farthest nonstop
flying bird in the room
The Arctic terns too
received acclamation
For flying the farthest
In their migration—pole to pole,
24,000 miles each year
causing most birds present to
stand up and cheer
in spontaneous applause—
But not all birds were willing
To concede their cause

Displaying proclivity
to resist the festivity
The crows and ravens
As they stormed out the door
vowed in unison, wings clenched,
"Nevermore!"

Premium Member Our Bountiful God

Our God is bountiful because
He gives rain and sunshine for trees and vines,
       Foods for all birds, all critters in the garden;
And God is bountiful because
He places His children in wide green fields,
      Gives wisdom and strength to catch more fish;
      His grace is overflowing,
      Heavenly gifts are countless,
      Lord’s blessings are immeasurable,
We adore Him, read poems of thanksgiving,
Sing songs of acclamation all day long,
He’s our God of Providence and Provision.
Our God is bountiful because
       He’s pouring out limitless love,
To survive this world by entering our hearts
       God lead us to an Everlasting Treasure;
His Richest Kingdom by His Precious Words.
Our God is bountiful because…
