Your bones

                                          Your skin ~

Premium Member Absolute Power Corrupts Absolutely

Benefit for all is converted for the use of a few
their pockets are included in national budgets
and their wants, top the country's priority list.
Even the Cock's raw corn
is highly coveted by the Cat.

An old plantain tree, preventing its suckers from growing
or a father, who frustrates the welfare of his family
is exactly the hell,
created by these money and power mongers

The political system
is all about a game of cards.
A particular clique
fixes their huge pipes
as the fatherland shrinks under no mercy.

Leaders they call themselves,
yet they invest on the hunger of their people
profit in the poverty of the land
and trade on all forms of artificial instability.

Acquisition of a generation's sustainability
turns out to be a hobby
as they still fight for the crumbs with the weak
and go for the meat, no matter how hot the soup is
disregarding those who cooked it.

The same citizens who once lined up
to give their confidence
which has now become a fatal sacrifice
are gradually reaching the wall.

So know ye this!
A hungry man is one that is angry
and when millions of angry men unite
nothing can stop their quest.

A people once treated less than animals
will hunt like vengeful kings
taking what is rightly theirs
marking a restoration, stained with blood.
Blood, far from innocence and purity!

Dedicated to African leaders, especially Nigeria!

Absolutely Nobody

Closed doors
Empty shores,
Doesn’t numb me
Not anymore.

Closed doors
Silence roars,
Hasn’t changed
Since I was four.

Closed doors
More and more,
I don’t want it
Not anymore.

Nothing

I remember a few words of a song whose title and singer I do not recall.
It was rather an upbeat song, with both a good sound and meaningful words.
The words that I remember? “Nothing from nothing leaves nothing”.
Unfortunately, I do not know anything that came before or after those few words. So please allow me to replace ‘before and after words’ of my own, just for fun.

For example. Before: You can add to your life the good, the bad, and the ugly. But remember, “Nothing from nothing leaves nothing”. After: You may choose to subtract from, divide, or multiply the essence of you. But just remember, “Nothing from nothing leaves nothing”.

Okay! But you might be saying, “Your words added nothing good to my life today. And you made me feel bad; I do not know what it is, but you took something from me. And whatever you subtracted,(perhaps my good looks) made me feel and look ugly. You have even twisted and divided my mind, and the pain level of my headache has now multiplied.”

So my response is this: Fantastic! Perhaps I have achieved my goal of “Nothingness”. I started with 'Nothing', and ended with the same. I did my best to make these few lines all about absolutely “Nothing”.

Absolutely Amazed

absolutely amazed
how did i get you back
the things you have accomplished since
i never thought i would or ever could
absolutely amazed
what change in particular drew you back to me
i feel as if i am the same guy
i think i am the same guy
is it just the changed in time and life
is it primarily the changes that YOU see in ME
whatever it is, i do not want to mess this rare second chance up this time
so sit down here....make yourself comfortable in my arms
talk with your mouth, your mind, your tonality, your expressionism, and your hands
tell me....no....make demands to me what you need, what you expect, and what you want
i will reply with the same and address any concern that you may have when it comes to my overall sincerity
i am just grateful to God that i have you back
i am forever with Forever....absolutely amazed....

Absolutely Mad Poetic Rhetoric

Persuasion's possessive verses
'midst absolute poetic madness
surrendered in rhapsodic poesy,
poets are a tidy sum of quirky &
care zilch of external perceptions,
content to breathe 'round seduction
and unicorns' phantasmagoria
insomuch nonsense amid candor,
directionless winds 'neath allegory
'pon posies and dragon's intimation
twisting mundane to vibrant intrigue,
translations representing prism's
kaleidoscopic colorful impressions
and themes of whimsies' schematics,
transparency & transcendence yielded
'neath abstraction's elaborations,
refining & expounding unspoken lyrical
compositions of a fancied expose
commencing communed communication,
redundancies' excesses never take recess
panoramic hues of conceptualizations' foibles
reverberating gusto of paradoxical aberrations,
chromatic visuals swaying eye's sensory perspective
distorting brain synapses proliferating alterations,
dancing 'tween fiery moonbows & dandelion whims
'pon emotions flabbergasted mid-starry night folly,
prancing within rain's whetted infidelity of sunrises
hanging amongst cosmoses' effulgent constellations,
feet never planted firmly in earthy burnt umber
viewing worldly horizons differently upside zest's zing
of inky relished sublimation and shifting symmetry - -

and we make naught apologies for imperfect paragons

An Absolutely Nonsensical Pseudo Poem That Fails To Pass For a Fairy Tale

When poet Tennyson was very young,
He was a handsome tiny son,
Who loved playing tennis under the sun.

When in his teens,
Tennyson excelled at his studies
So much so that he won the admiration of
Adorable girls who numbered ten.

As an adult Tennyson the tiny son went on a journey
To a faraway city called Newcastle upon Tyne.
There he came across a man who covered himself with tin.
Tennyson decided to call him "Tin Man."

Tin Man and Tennyson became good friends
So close together at all times.
Then one day they met someone so pretty and tiny
Who looked and behaved exactly like Tinker Bell.

Tinker Bell, Tinker Bell, tinkle all the way,
Oh, what fun it is to ride in a one-donkey open sleigh!

"What a delightful, perfectly beautiful day we have today!"
Said Tinker Bell.
Oops! I don't think she could talk.
Who, then, made that statement, I wonder?
I wonder, I wonder, Alice in Wonderland.
Humpty Dumpty all the way,
Smiling nastily like that cat
Whose mouth was floating in the air,
Devoid of the rest of her body.

All the king's horses and all the king's men
Couldn't put Alice together again.
And she one day decided to climb that tree,
Which grew so tall as to reach the sky,
Out of those beans that that old, ugly woman
Had given her the previous day
In exchange for the cake Alice had given her.

So Alice climbed and climbed and
At last she landed on the nearest cloud.
There she saw a great mansion
Surrounded by vines.
She lost no time in stealing in through the huge iron door.
There she found this goose of gold
And Alice was tempted to steal it
And bring it back home.

And so she went down back home
With that goose of gold
And lived happily ever after.

HARK! speak up, any man who wants to hear it.
we honestly dont know what it is,
but we have our own problems!
call me a hypocrite, but isnt everyone?
we complain of the things we dont wanna hear
then of things we didnt hear when its too late.

tell me then...can a million men allbe wrong?
               ABSOLUTELY

Premium Member God Absolutely Loves Color

GOD ABSOLUTELY LOVES COLOR!!!

Have you ever really contemplated the varieties
of colors in flowers, fish, birds, animals even
the beautiful sunsets in the heaven at times?
Then why don’t we appreciate the colors GOD has
made in creating man? Like the little Bible song
that children learned stating man as, red, yellow
black and white they are precious in HIS sight!

How uninteresting Earth would have been had HE
colored everything, black, or white…! Say everything
was black… birds, trees, fish, flowers, animals, even
the sunsets or white, the same way! But, even then
man would have found something other than color to fuss
about… with the devil’s help of course! But don’t be fooled..
this racism is not just man fussing over this, man is getting
fueled by the ole’ devil. He is not at all happy when there
is peace and acceptance, love, and joy among GOD’s creation!

Those of us who are called by HIS name need to
agree together and rise up and put this “racism”
devil on the run and also put him under our feet where
he belongs and let GOD have HIS way! Diversities
among peoples can be a beautiful thing not a divisive,
unfruitful and hateful things but it actually should be
celebrated! I pray that we will keep the devil under our feet in the
coming days! Let’s make a point of loving people even
for their differences!

I will share this one thing that happened to me several
years ago now on a job. I was working with a younger
woman who had what you would call a “potty mouth”.
She used terrible language which really gets
to me. Now, I could have been hateful to her about it
but, instead, I asked the LORD to give me a love for her instead
of anger, and HE did! I brought her over to my home and taught
her how to crochet, and we laughed together and had
a great time. I share JESUS with her to and she really ended
up becoming like my little sister. You see, GOD will do those
things if we ask HIM and if we will do what HE says to do. Anyway
with HIS help, we had love and peace in our office!

Let’s choose, love over hatred so we can have peace
in our country!

ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING

My husband had a restaurant
For thirty two years,
Much frustration, kitchen hell
And staff in tears.
The Oasis was a place to dine
Of note,
When exhausted, we drove down,
To the coast and surfed the waves on our boat.
He was renown,
From Limpopo, to Cape Town!
But the time had come to relax a bit,
So he could read the daily newspaper,
And actually sit!
We sold the Oasis, renovated
Our kitchen so it could be his
Own place,
And of course space,
Where I am occasionally allowed
To show my face,
But only to make dessert or taste,
And with a kiss of somewhat haste,
Retreat to let him do his
Own thing,
And enjoy an absolute kitchen
Fling!
He cooks with his hands, soul and
And heart,
And he always dresses for the part,
Be it kitchen hand, chef or
Restaurateur,
He is, and always has been an excellent,
Interpreter,
Of any recipe as far as Beijing,
In fact he can cook anything,
From any Nation, culture or creed,
He has a flair that none can
Exceed!
And looks so cute,
In his dinner suit!
It’s time to serve dinner in style,
Which takes a while,
First he lights candles, then gives
Me a hug,
Pours me wine from our silver jug,
Serves us both and eventually
Sits down.
He had previously told me to
Dress in a comfortable gown,
I guessed he had some surprise
Up his sleeve,
For it was the eve,
Of our Wedding Anniversary.
A bell rings, it’s our front door,
There stands a chauffeur and behind
Him a limousine ,
I still didn’t know what was in store.
Until, the limosine turned towards
the airport,
My husband had packed my suitcase,
And brought my passport,
We board a plane and then he
Discloses,
To me with a bunch of roses,
That we were off to Mauritius for a week,
And, gives me a kiss on each cheek.
He had asked the pilot to please hide,
The roses, everything was so beautifully planned,
I just cried!
Happy Anniversary darling, he said.
I also had a surprise for him,
For he filled my life with such
Happiness, to the brim,
But I would keep this secret until
We arrived,
Happy Anniversary sweetheart
I replied!

Absolutely Nothing

You see just behind that sight there's nothing
you can't see, you can't look, you are blind.
and just beyond that sound you can't hear,
not a snap, not a whisper, or a chime (deaf and blind)
and when all your secrets are told you can't talk
no sound, no wind, no words, (deaf, mute, blind)
and just past that chill up your spine you can't feel
no emotion, no sensation, nothings real.
some people say when you die you will see,
but others say it's a version of hell,
that you go to when you try to see too far past your realm.
inulgence, self righteousness, worship, and kill.
so that you make and feel what you choose to be real.
some call it sweeping dust under the rug.
others call them skeletons in your closet.
but they'll soon catch up with you
if you do or don't want it
cause karma's got it's own clock of vengence lists
and kid, you're on it.

War Poems. What Are They Good For? Absolutely Nothing!

You can write another poem
Which shakes its head at wasted lives,
And everyone who reads it will
Wonder how war still survives,

"Your skills outline this futility,
These words will answer through the ages,"
Empty words and compliments,
Whilst outside still the battle rages.
