War Poems. What Are They Good For? Absolutely Nothing!
You can write another poem
Which shakes its head at wasted lives,
And everyone who reads it will
Wonder how war still survives,
"Your skills outline this futility,
These words will answer through the ages,"
Empty words and compliments,
Whilst outside still the battle rages.
