Premium Member Song of The Jaguar No 2: ABBA

Inspiring, crescendo ... the ascension,
of myth and legend as Yaguara,
or "Death in one leap" the sleek frame, Jaguar
as if it's from another dimension.
Leopards bit spotty, but Jaguars take
a rosette form, tell-tale signs like water
that natures them. As a jungle squatter,
prey, and time of hunt, don't discriminate
their mettle. Domains--mine alone; moms play
dads too, tongues play teeth too, cubs play adult
as hunt molds age. Overcast shades result
in a Black Panther coexist display.
Imperil: human expansion collide,
... imagine our continental divide.

I have a dream, I’m not prepared to give up
I trust that you’ll lay all your love on me
I’m ready to go dance for my Fernando
Swing the tango for that’s the name of the game.

I trust that you’ll lay all your love on me
For darling, I’m your dear Dancing Queen
Swing the tango for that’s the name of the game.
And believe me, the winner takes it all.

For darling, I’m your dear Dancing Queen
We dance and thank you for the music,
And believe me, the winner takes it all.
So tell that Chiquita to stay away from me.

We dance and thank you for the music,
I’m ready to go dance for my Fernando
So tell that Chiquitita to stay away from me.
I have a dream, I’m not prepared to give up.

Premium Member Song of The White Egret Orchid No 5: ABBA

Flowers have that novel effect on schism,
where the uniqueness of its design forms
compare that White Egret Orchid performs
like its namesake, chicken or the egg, ism
being afloat plume or the blooming grews.
Soggy-bottom boys and girls 'tis they want
of this bit of a ground-hugger-like haunt.
Sophistication hails for untamed shrews
attracts from up or a transferred potter,
with a metal device tool like a pick,
the gifted angular, pruning, technique,
lauds the fringed orchid, White Egret Flower.
Monkey Face Orchid, to Yulan Pink Birds,
venture advances, the future ... occurs.

Premium Member Song of The American Bald Eagle No 12: ABBA

Christ the Redeemer, Bless His Holy Name,
Amen, to the place called Big Bear Valley,
where hails our nation's bird, fair Cali,
the American Bald Eagle ... proclaim.
Naught bald or hairy, females are bigger
than their forever mate. Soars ten thousand
feet: eyesight eight times stronger than human
and they are indeed, the largest ... raptor.
Courting, sky dancing show, Cirque du Soleil,
can't beat their score. Biggest nest, atop tall
trees, their babies are called eaglets and crawl
and fledge but not too far. Grandeur display,
winged feathers of prominence. Humankind
edge what remains their last hope, be enshrined.

The End (Atypical English Sonnet With Abba Rhyme Scheme)

For months our sun has hovered overhead
To crack the barren earth across its land.
The streams run dry, no summer buds expand,
No desert death has ever been so dead.

No haven safe as place where souls can run
Since truth, in brutal slumber, woke and found
A final fury tightly wound around
Each ember edifice of dying sun.

Malignant flaws turn light on human fears
and consequential truth replaces lies
as man forms memories with last goodbyes
remorseful eyes pour out torrential tears.

The final surge of heat falls harsh upon
The raw reflection of an amber dawn.

Abba

Faith defines being
As His Glory you are seeing
In so decreeing

Abba

ABBA, redeem my heart
By Love’s sweet embrace;
Gently whispers life in me,
My soul set free.

Open wide your sweet embrace,
My ABBA, enfold me please
In waves of grace;
Safe haven in the storm.

Lost sheep cries out
To ABBA without doubt;
Love’s sweet embrace secure
Upon return
And lesson learned.

ABBA’s love is sweetly given
When open hearts abide
Resting by His side
In hope of reassurance
Unending love held near.

Will I receive
And not deceive
This fragile heart of mine?

Abba (For My Father and My Husband)

Love speaks truth into the darkest heart
Where ministering angels stir the soul's delight.
Interred till now beneath a bitter night,
Released this day from bleak resentment's art.
Love, reach deep even though we are apart.
Dismantle lies and give me sacred sight;
Illuminate those wounds born of spite.
Forgiveness sighs, then wakes with a start.
The strand which connects all fathers has led me to one
Whose poems sing praise to God's own truth revealed
Through the Holy Spirit, Mary, and the Son.
A father's heart, so tender, is concealed
Until that inner angel's work is done
And a daughter's vision, through heavenly grace, is healed.

Music

The food of love..
To nourish my soul
Keeping me warm,
Dear friend, in the cold.

We dance and sing
Yet you never judge
Or my crazy, wide-eyed
Fantasy begrudge.

Although my frame
May be slow and weak.
You see the truth..
My moves are sleek

With You I'm fleet of foot
And never shy.
No Strictly ballroom
Can deny..

My spirit
Soars on wings again
Like Eagles high..
A flippin' ten.

Oh tuneful friend
Oh dancing Queen of joy
You raise us all
Each girl.
Each boy.

In sleepless dreams
We never yawn
We are Aretha;
Freddie;
Bjorn.

There is no heart without you.
No tune we cannot bring.
No hidden corner
Too dark to sing.

No greyed out human.
No colourless soldier.
No battle lost, with You.
No thing is ever over.

For music brings
Eternal light
Scattering the shadows
Of the night..

Revealing hope
And peace and love.
A gift composed
From high above..

If the curtain closes
I can only say;
When the final meal is music
..then play.

The music softly begins to play
The bagpipers leading the way
I have seen where we all have been
We used to be lovers
Now we are lyrics from old songs

We used to dance, and hold hands
Now I hold on to dreams
And yet the music still plays
Old streets, and old roads,
Ancient memories linger on

And here I am, a song in hand
And there you are, an angel’s voice
You have whispered silly thoughts
I feel your heart, and I surely wish
My waiting in the rain, won’t last long

All the trains have passed and gone
Nothing left to see but the dawn
Oceans away, and still I long for the music
The dance, the last romance, hopeless whispers
I have only to caress these thoughts, nothing more

Premium Member Tribute To the Day Before You Came By Bjorn Ulvaeus In the First 1982 Abba Version

Tribute to “The Day Before You Came” * by Bjorn
in the first 1982 ABBA version

The day before yesterday
You came together to play
To lift our hearts in joy
Belting out in convoy
The day after he came
We celebrate whose fame
You wailed through self-pity
But ne’er called it Beauty

‘Infinite suffering thing’
Would that Eliot could sing
Pre-dramatic event
Your breaking-up you meant
“Pretty sure it must have rained”
”…rattling on the roof” hearts stained
The day after he came
Most songs seem sound the same

“Knowing you Knowing me”
Never meant to be free
“…my life…its usual frame”
“…sense of living without aim”
Yes “Some one is crying”
No some one’s conniving
At noon must have left for lunch
“…usual place…usual bunch”

The sad journey on rails
Must break hearts crammed in jails
Due at eight in the morn
Back at eight all forlorn
“And turning out the light”
Curled safe in bed at night
For the day after he came
My life burned on a flame

The paradox of joy
Is that it makes one cry
‘Parting is such sweet sorrow’
Better still safe routine in tow
“…I hid a part of me…”
“…in heaps of papers” for fee
And let the world pass by
Not knowing what is joy

Is joy carpe diem
Was day before he came
Now my life’s over due
I’ve met my Waterloo
The train’s an ugly monster
Dragging its hind legs after
Frida’s howl pack of hounds
Benny's sound track train pounds

Anna’s swan tones lament
Bjorn’s lines uptight breasts rent
Beauty’s not only content
It’s also the way you vent
Conceit’s the ermine cloak
Rattling skeletons croak
Bjorn’s true lines exquisite poem
Sung in sweet pain What’s its name

I Cry Abba

Oh God I cry Abba! Abba!
Have mercy on me I beseech thee,
on such as I!
lest I die
I cry Abba! Abba!
I'm blind
Oh let me glimpse, let me see
your majesty
just a speck for I am a mote in the dust of your time for your love is so sublime
I cry Abba! Abba!
Just one touch
But it is too much to hold how could I be so bold
But I cry Abba! Abba!
I love you! I praise you! King of the Universe!
I glorify you with all that I am
may I be worthy let the words of my mouth and the meditations of my heart be acceptable in thy sight
    let me not depart
Let me dwell in your light
Let me glorify thy might as
I
Cry Abba! Abba!
