Enter Poem or Quote (Required)Required I played my part, I gave my best, Yet unlike me, you did it effortless, No trophy to hold or prize to claim Just empty hands and an echo of shame. I stand beside the constant cheers for your glory, left alone in my own forlorn story. You smiled as if it were just fate, As if my losses were yours to take. My injured hands bear toil and pain, while yours stay soft with effortless gain. Yearning for first place, yet always falling at your grace, While my resilience was forced to fade without a trace. The winner takes it all, the loser has to fall. It’s simple and it’s plain— so why should I complain?
