Best 20 Words Poems
A pack of snarling wolves
baying for my blood.
Battered, bruised and bleeding
yet I won’t give up the fight!

His world
hangs on a wall.
His wheeled chair
sits in a corner.
His tillered escape –
the Barque,
Astral Traveler.

When you smile
my heart lifts to soar on lover's wings
gliding on eternal winds of love
as I surrender.

I can feel the desert on my skin
And almost touch where time begins

I checked out 20 words we owe to William Shakespeare and included them in this ditty about teenagers.
Bedazzled by new-fangled, multitudinous belongings,
fashionable youth in half-blooded pageantry
swagger uncomfortably amidst the inaudible manager
of their disheartening addictions.
Scuffling shy of eyeball contact
they cold-bloodedly eschew humanity
and view any effort toward eventful social intercourse
as an assassination attempt by an arch-villain
and as the Ladybird; play dead when threatened.
I checked out 20 words we owe to William Shakespeare and included them in this ditty about teenagers. The Bard is emboldened herein :
Bedazzled by new-fangled, mutitudinous belongings,
Fashionable youth in half-blooded pageantry
Swagger uncomfortably amidst the inaudible manager
Of their disheartening addictions.
Scuffling shy of eyeball contact
They Cold-bloodedly eschew humanity
And view any effort toward eventful social intercourse
As an assassination attempt by an arch-villain
and as the Ladybird, play dead when threatened.
Independent Soul
I was really a rather independent soul
Which on me many times took its toll
And ended up being worn out by it
Trying to find out where I should fit.
If by grace of God I did what was good
All of the wrong could have withstood
Then listened to birds as they would sing
Saying God has the answer for everything.
When upon the seas waves may be rough
How can we tell when enough is enough?
So will pray to God for His glorious aid
Before into past I finally do fade.
Found my life to be over and complete
If another performance I were to repeat
No, I am not and to heaven will go
While rest of you remain on earth below.
Idea: Out of all the poems which I have written,
which 20 words do I use the most listed from
most used to the lesser ones in order.

Love's Kisses And Music
Blending midsummer air
drifting softly
in the sapphire
twilight clouds
where the beauty of
love's kisses
and music
is real.

Birds roost; the sun sets,
The day ends and sleeps,
The moon up high,
It lights the sky; stars peep.

That Pack
We warned you
about that pack
threatening
days and nights.
They captured you,
brought you down,
killer pack
Marlboro Lights.

I was told to "Pack it in."
"No!" I am not a quitter.
I never give up until I win.

Words spoken at night
You and I forevermore
Melancholy without you
The cemetery
Came to tell you I miss you.

Unknown (22 words)
Hidden in secrecy, Shrouding the truth
Showing little, Unable to sleuth
Reasons unknown, Motives unclear
Open to none, All out of fear.
Sliding doors (16 words)
I saw her look
from across the station
I ran,
the doors closed,
and she's gone
Hand Made (36 Words)
Molded to imagination
Lacks form on its own
Purpose lies in art and function
Not on one alone
Hands and eyes work together
Creating something new
Finished now and on a shelf
For everyone to view
Victory (20 words)
Veni vidi vici
Proclaim the spoils of war
Soldiers flood the fields
With guns out front
Planes and tanks galore
The Dark of Night (Cinqain)
Night
Calm, mysterious
Blankets the world
Time of relaxed reflection
Darkness
Secret (25 words)
Locked in a vault behind the mind’s eye.
Hidden from the world in order to deny.
A slip of the tongue... it’s gone... you sigh…
Bank Robbery (14 words)
Sweat on his brow
Revolver in hand
She relinquishes the bag
Now he flees
Video Phone (18 words)
The perfect crime
So it seemed
But unbeknownst
At the scene
Someone caught it
On their cellphone screen
Camping (20 words)
Crisp Mountain air
Snuggled together in a microfiber bag
An enclosed zippered fortress
Protected from the elements
Communing with Nature
The Sun (10 words)
Night and day
Create illusion.
Masking truth of
Eternal sunshine.
Clothed in Ink (14 words)
Fish scales and flowers,
A saturated canvas.
Naked yet hidden
Under ink master’s design.
Untold No More (45 words)
Floodgates open.
Pouring forth a tale
Of mystery
And lessons learned.
A tale of caution
For open minds
To be soaked up
Like a sponge.
The release creates
Momentary ecstasy.
It escapes the lips,
Lifting a great weight.
Now the story will be passed on.
For it is your name written
across my heart
and will remain long after
the sound of it’s final beat.
