Would I rather be me or a Celebrity?
Celebrities get stalked
No one stalks me

Celebrities give autographs
No one asks me

Celebrities get interviewed
No one knows me

Celebrities get mobbed by fans
In some ways, I am glad to be me

Music Mantra

A Well known Noun was signing autographs at the:
Music Verbing Area in a Noun, outside of Nounia.
Someone in the booth began playing the song
"Dipathong Montra" and everybody started dancing.
Stable oject and verses perceived actions were
sought and sifted: these people knew what the sound was,
and where it was coming from, and what to do with it!
They were' getting down", "doing the thing The dynamic urgency
of the sound, thump and move, rhythmic and rhythm. Dance
the kinetic verb: bump and grind smile and grinning some of that
"ooh Yeah!"Kinetically Genius " no sound unwanted and no motion
wasted.."Pageantry and Grooves" nothing used." Motion friendly
women do it best. The one's who like dancing with you and
not just song monitering" "That thang came across the speakers and
every one who knew music started getting it in."

Dapper dog and glamourous cat
strutted around on a Wyoming flat
thinking autographs would be demanded by many
in truth, there were no askers, in fact, not any

Premium Member Hot Dog Gnome

how did you become the hot dog gnome? asked the reporter from KTV5
When my family knew or the world knew? He liked this lively jive.
I guess, the world, she said, not sure what the gnome meant that day.
That’s up to you, he told her. I am counting on you getting me lots of play.
He sat in the grocery store waiting to sign autographs for the masses.
People who noticed him the most were children, and they had classes.

florida's current governor

he signs death like he signs autographs—
quick, proud, no eye contact.
the ink smells of burnt orange peel and sweat.
he’s got the sun behind him,
and a pen that tastes of rust.

the papers call it “justice served,”
but i see a man trying to outpace his own shadow,
killing the ghosts before they vote again.
he changes the rules—
twelve men in a room,
now only eight have to agree
that a man deserves to die.

he smiles for the cameras,
says it’s for the victims,
but the ghosts nod off in the gallery,
too tired to haunt the living anymore.

they say it’s quicker now,
no more appeals that last a lifetime—
just a warrant, a date, a needle.
a machine that hums efficiency
in the land of oranges and hurricanes.

he calls it strength.
the newspapers call it leadership.
the preachers call it divine.
but the dead call it silence.

you can’t see mercy in the muggy air,
only steam rising from asphalt
and the sound of another man’s name
being crossed off the list.

politics is a blood thirsty business,
and power drinks best from a warm vein.

Premium Member Glamour dog goes to mall to give autographs

Glamour dog expected poodles to ask for her autograph very much
But they raced past her, as if they did not see her at all
How had they missed her fancy scarf, her florals and such?
She gave gray hounds a look, but they were so tall

They did not see her, so she groused to her cousin Hutch
Who cares? He asked. You know you are a gorgeous doll.
He is a gentleman, and totally Dutch.
This reassurance urged glamour dog out of the mall.

Premium Member It Ain't Easy Being Humble

If there's one thing to remember as you travel life's highway
We're all made of the same stuff
Bones, skin, hair, and smashing good looks
Oops sorry, not everyone is blessed with good looks like this dude
Mummy and Daddy's genes combined
For an extraordinarily handsome specimen of male virility
Had to fight the girlies off with a big stick
I know, I know, shouldn't be complaining... right!!!
Some of us just have to endure these minor inconveniences
Hollywood movie stars have much the same “problems”
Have to admit, at first it was very flattering
But that soon wore off and it's now quite a nuisance
Having to sign autographs every time I step outside the door
Guess it's the price us over the top handsome folks have to pay
For the adulation of the adoring throngs
You may ask, “IS THIS GUY SMOKIN' UP?”
Sure sounds kinda whacked out to me, I must say!
Aww! But he's got such a sweet heart
Hang on, hang on, I'll soon be back to my humble self again
I'm sorry... it ain't easy being humble you know!
My tongue's stuck in my cheek!

Between the Pauls

Between the Pauls, there were some laughs
From some with valued autographs
And glimpses of the former staffs
Of Saturday Night Live.

Some old routines brought up to date,
Including some just second-rate,
Performed to help to celebrate
What’s managed to survive.

Paul Simon started with a song
To which we all could sing along
And with a voice no longer strong,
For harmony he’d strive.

Sir Paul, the final singing guest,
In dapper shirt and jet-black vest,
Despite his lessened pipes, impressed,
The audience alive.

For fifty years of SNL,
We’ve watched careers it helped propel
And since this wasn’t a farewell,
We hope it long may thrive.

Premium Member A New Phantom of the Opera

The phantom of the opera,
once bitter and marose,
living in torture chambers,
almost comatose,

has got a new publicist.
Don't write his epitaph.
Now, he's bright and cheerful,
signing autographs.

Premium Member Fading Photographs

In a dusty bin, albums lie stacked, old and worn,
Yellowed with age, a few tattered pages hold pictures of a newborn.
Another bears autographs, a favourite band’s ink now faded,
With a young girl’s crush and tears, memories created.

Years of life captured through childhood and beyond,
Each image, a fragment echo of lives once vibrant, creating a bond.
Stories of laughter and love now unfold,
In fading photographs, only shadows remain untold.

Reminders of yesteryear we hold tight before they disappear,
A collection of memories, faces fading, but to the heart the feeling is still dear and near.

Premium Member Rolling by

Rolling passed where I used to live many years ago,
I saw a white limousine stopping by,
I didn't know what was happening,
but I went there to see.
A Coruña, my city those years,
in front of the "Chaplin Cinemas"
the "Black Panther" made her
limousine to be stopped in the middle of nowhere to sign autographs before the concert.
Mrs Tina Turner went out
from the car in the middle of the road so humble.
Mrs. Tina Turner had a concert for one day, but many people didn't have the chance to be there because there was no space.
She didn't mind to stay and give another concert for us to enjoy for free.
Mrs. Tina Turner I've been blessed by chance,
while you were rolling down the street.
So nice you stopped by my door when you were rolling by.

Premium Member Magic

What image does the word magic conjure up,
a prestidigitator or mystic spell?
Some say sorcery always needs a backup;
for wizards are tricksters with something to sell,
pretending to master the secrets of Hell.

Though illusionists' tricks deceive the eye,
hidden mirrors can't make real disappear.
They claim to levitate and seemingly fly;
honing their art for another grand premiere,
hawking their autographs as a souvenir.

Enchanters can enchant susceptible souls,
into believing their magic is real.
By exploiting reality's hidden holes,
they can manipulate how you think and feel;
turning ordinary into surreal.

Seemingly achieving the impossible;
magic and miracles share similar traits.
Both stretch the boundaries of what's possible,
contrary to what reality mandates;
and both have sparked philosophical debates./center>

Autographs of Angels

Does anyone on earth ever get the privilege to see
the downy feathers of an angel, floating free
By the parting of the curtains all God's warriors guarantee
no accolades are given, when they come to referee
Signatures of old from a testament and promise
always present to protect they seal it with a kiss
A miracle adrift on scented wings hidden in the mist
all power and all mighty, shard and light a blitzed
Autographs Of Angels painted on Cathedral walls
where the hollow of their Sacred, rests where no one calls.

Premium Member Chris the Christmas Dog

Chris the Christmas dog was a large black mutt
His inimitable spirit was planted down deep in his gut.
He was clever and fun, and we watched him with mirth.
Glad he was born on our dear Savior’s birth.

He was patient and kind, and he watched everyone.
Glad for anything good that happened, he was lots of fun.
Is that Chris the Christmas dog? Strangers would ask.
We did not take him in public without his mask.

For they would come running toward us with pens in hand.
Asking Chris to sign autographs, people all over our land.
His unique response to everyone was to give them a lick.
He was beloved by millions; this dog was incredibly slick!
