Joke That Falls Flat

A man's joke could not trigger laughter:
A good one about helicopter
Some poor guy often flew in dreams
While in true life could not pay for creams;
Audience of joke cracker creditors,
Who needed prompt cash for auditors;
Three with him for their thousand dollars,
On that day joke cracker's First callers.

"So, why these tales about helicopter
And opening an unwished chapter?"
Tales might veer to roofs of rafter
Now left for Generations after...
Joke got the more intolerable,
When he said not things honorable
They are not leaving him just, like that
Each need to show rat he'd turned a cat

Yes, jokes could fall flat for bad timing
And one can't restore them with miming.

Process Process and Process

For one to a thing access
There is often a process,
Its full name: Laid-Down Process...

In schools The bell for Recess,
Accounts auditors assess:
We all wait for Due Process...

And nurses have craved process
While treating patient's abscess.
Nothing is done in excess,
Not while there exist process.

Process now means True Progress,
Absence of it: True Regress.
But it does mean, too, Duress.
Letters starting with Address,
Programs demanding a dress...

Even robes one wants to press.
Process, Process and Process.

An Idiot Does Not Riot

Demonstrators in all riots
Aren’t at all full or half idiots:
Any fellow on Rich Diet
Most likely will remain quiet…

Idiots don’t fear Police Canister,
Whose contents are damned sinister.
Cops begin to consult Tear Gas
And vanish would even a lass;
For man fancies not Helpless Tear;
Once its source sights, to The Rear...

With Betrayers they remonstrate,
Against The Bizarre demonstrate:
Idiots don’t know when Auditors
Are Arranged Phony Monitors…

Your So-Called Idiots know the risks
In one playing too long corrupt disks:
Just The Accidental Discharge
That make rioters not in-charge;
Yet, those that voice it keep quiet:
You don’t Idiots meet in Riot.

Premium MemberYou Can'T Save the Day

To me,
Use a drug,
Is to invite to the world,
a Super Bug.
Time to Get the Lead out.
So all can see,
What you are doing to me.
Do as we say,
You can't save the day.
Complacent and waste time?
Well brother,
that's on your dime.
Don't you want to twist and shout?
That's really what's it's all about.
A better future for yours and mine,
If you just pull up to the table and dine.
Fire and brimstone otherwise will be yours,,
Leaking out from all your pours.
We love you it's plain to see,
let my auditors sail the sea.
With winds southerly,
as free as a bird,
his direction is sent by an internal compass.
don't muck if up, and press your luck.
or the whole situation will really suck.

Premium MemberThe Sprigs and Spirit of Sistine -5

We are the Ignudi
unclothed, ebullient and energetic,
we lean and lunge, twist and turn
impervious to the imposition of ignominious imposters,
we are an expression of immortal youth
the athletes and auditors of God's court
unbound by banality or bashfulness
we listen and leer at those who stare
looking for secrets in this sacred ceiling,
in our faces you'll see the feelings
of primal awareness unadulterated by apprehension...

Great Departure

Are you ready?
will made and signed
debts paid and closed
charity to poor done
broken promises fulfilled
family investments done

Are you ready?
have you repented?
Are family, friends prepared
are you set for the great departure
Do you know it is without warning?

Accountants are ready
auditors have calculators
choir ready with welcome hymn
supervisors ready with report
receptionists at the door

Are you ready for the big departure?
check again, reflect on your life

History of Time

History of Time

Wind up your watches
Lets hear them tick
Seconds, minutes, hours
Time, date, day, year
The history auditors are here
They review, and revise
But always without fail, they omit the truth
They magnify the lies
Old money, is never guilty of any crime
The laws were different, in their time
But they're still the masters
The history auditors dance to their tune
Women forgotten, never venerated
Weak men obsessed with power and greed
To be always hailed as a daring breed
Wind up your watches
Lets hear them tick
Seconds, minutes, hours
The history auditors are here
You won't be remembered
Unless you belong to the right club
The passage of time an edited story
To re-enforce the merits of vanity
Wind up your watches
lets hear them tick
This is the history auditors at play
And Knowing ignorance works of pay

The Project Manager

"Mr. Nelson, you are brought
before this very board
to answer for some variance
that cannot be ignored
your project shows completion
thirteen months ahead of time
the stakeholders are happy
and you haven’t spent a dime
normally this type of thing
is very well and good
but your forecast did not show this
as you must have known it should
this deviation shall be factored
in your pay review
the auditors have other things
that you must answer to
approval on requirements
approval on design
all seem to have gone missing
Nelson, have you lost your mind?
and what about the risk review
they’ll surely want to see
what made you think you could ignore
our methodology?
and so he spoke in his defense,
"well sir I must admit it.
it was a simple, harmless change.
we went ahead and did it".

Obsessed

It is sweet and available but deadly,
I cannot do without taking it all the time,
even if the effects on my health are costly,
getting hyperactive is not a crime,
backache and fatigue are my normal visitors,
stomach pain and extreme pile are auditors,
 much sugar,diabetes is near!
