Au Fait Poems | Examples

Gigs

For those of you who aren't
Musically au fait
Let me describe to you
How to set up gigs to play

Despite your best efforts
And the preparation done
Inevitably some snag
Will bite you on the bum

You lug in all the gear
It weighs a helluva lot
Only to discover the stage
Is the size of a table top

Only a single power point
Is available for you to use
Leads are strung up everywhere
To trip on as you choose

Tension is running high
As a preliminary strum
Causes feedback squeals
But the worst is yet to come...

The mics are on the blink
The lightings really dim
Someone breaks a string
It's pandemonium!

Notre Dame Du Bois Joli

En route avec le Seigneur on l'a suit
Aucun regret
Parmis la forêt
Mes pionniers
Vous avez bien trouvés
Lesson d'amour
Au secours
Apprendre à partagé
Vous avez bien semés
Dieu retrouve en moi
Choix de sa foix
Au temps du respect
Une jeunesse imparfaite
Mon Dieu je te demande pardon
Merci de vos leçons
Plus de souffrance
Viens on danse
Tu te rapproche
Au fait des roches
Du village petit
L'épiphanie

What is Man
Written: by Miracle Man

Man’s life is more than the sum of his years,
From birth he steps smartly toward judgments gate.
With calloused hands, and eyes dripping tears,
He fulfills his purpose trusting life was au fait.

Stay Firm --- Jeffrey's Sonnet

In social media one of
the biggest concerns is the love
to prove I'm different from rest;
All to feel, I'm just better than
any guy, won't share my game plan;
Trying hard, all to be impressed.

Want to show best, to make them feel
I'm distinct, like an ideal;
to poseur them my hidden charm.
But, does such acts really work?
Being rare may backfire, mightn't spark.
Probably won't succeed, it'll harm.

Just conform, don't exaggerate;
To be au fait, on thoughts stay firm.

Memories To Cherish

Let er rip. - Shoot from the hip. Write using the meaning of this expression.

They were strangers
Yet they felt completely
Au fait with one another
They strolled through the fields of corn
Quite relaxed and at ease

They smiled as they talked
Each giving the other a shy smile
He held out his hand, they touched
Bells rung in their ears
As though they were reborn

They ran like two children at play
Exhausted they fell to the ground
In a bundle of legs and arms
Their lips touched, was like lighting
A touch paper
Feeling of wantoness ran through their veins

She gathered his manhood in her hands
Gently massaging him to full arousal
This was a no return situation
They made love , no they completed the act of lust
Her clothes in shreds where they were ripped away

Her virginity given willingly
within the roughness of the occasion
No thoughts of consequences
She didn't know his name
She knew his body
They knew it was a here and now situation

They parted with a passionate kiss
They had let er rip, and definitely shot from the hip
Memories they will treasure always.
A new life will be, because of the now

The Landship

Known to stone and loam
Black with sodden wood,
              the rain`s heart

Au fait with clay and ash
Burnt like a brandmark into clay
              a tree`s burial

Launched into a night like tar
Full of fallen lights and stars
              the taste of darkness

Your Secret Admirer

Balmy by the looks so beguiling
A sudden feeling aroused by the essence so quest,
You simply smile by the au jus of your lips -
A solitaire awaited by the presence so lest,
Whoso you deserve – a solemnity within shone;
A panorama of thoughts, a swain to be, yours
A secret admirer.

Yenned for the day so longed
A fortune behold by the ephemeral so cadged,
You simply versed by the espy of your eyes -
A moribund velleity now braced by the apathy of days,
Whoso you deserve – a solemnity within shone;
A panorama of enamors, an amigo to be, yours
A secret admirer.

Faith for the beguile so au fait
A hollo minced by the depth so pulsated
You simply filched thy heart by the ires so true
A nascence of juvenile by the paroles of numb
Whoso you deserve – a solemnity within shone;
A panorama of wordses, a promise to be, yours
A secret admirer.
