June's heart is grief

You used to like me, what's happened now?

Ever since June, you've been so blue.

Stressing over nothing at all?

A one sided drama, a small conflict?

Is that all?

I say hi, but you don't even peek, let alone speak.

I try to celebrate your birthday, but can't find time.

You don't even seem to notice mine.

I know your favourite colour.

Favourite article of clothing

All your animal's names, and when you get up in the morning.

I visit you from time to time, and follow you everywhere.

I miss when we used to be friends, we'd play to no ends!

I don't remember much, I'm quite stuck.

I seem to remember things from yesterday, but not tomorrow.

Is that why you're mad? You're actually sad?

My birthday is coming up, but I've got no luck.

Just some flowers at a rock for me? Not even some god damn confetti!

I'd rather have games, confetti and cake, then to see your sad desolate face.

My dear friend, who I love to no end, I won't be there to see you grow up.

Maybe I'm just stuck up?

I'm too sad to move forward, so I'll hang back a little while.

I hope you'll soon find your smile!

Sorry, I'M Closed

You never had the time, so you would always window shop. You always came to window shop. Stores have the best things hanging in the windows, promoting itself with bargains and deals in order to attract any customer that passed by. One day, you finally came inside. You looked around and saw the different colors and fabrics that each article of clothing had to offer. The store began to consider you a regular and was happy to see that you returned. After inspecting and getting to know everything the store contained, You walked into my fitting room to see if anything could appeal to you. You slid on each piece seeing how it would fit or compliment you. Minutes passed and the curtain stayed closed.

You threw everything into the return pile and walked out of the store. The clothing that laid there was stained. Your scent and the fingerprints you left behind would become apart of the clothing that sat inside. I wanted to put them on the sale rack but they ended up in storage.

You were no longer a regular. Weeks went by. The store was empty. So it closed.

Premium MemberJust Because I Said I Do

Just because I said " I Do"
Doesn't mean I married your family
and yes I love you, but do I have
to critique every pair of shoes to see
if they match what ever color cloth your wearing
and how many times do I need to hear
"does this make me look fat?"
Just because I said " I Do"
Doesn't mean I might forget to wipe my feet
once in awhile before entering the house
or forget to pick up an article of clothing
It's not that I'm lazy, I'm just a man
like all the rest..You remember
"All you men are alike"
Just because I said "I Do"
Doesn't mean you should get mad
because I didn't hear you screaming
while battling an intruder during a football game
Hey, it was a close game
Just because I said "I Do"
Doesn't mean I might forget to say "I love you"
before leaving for work
or leave the toilet seat up..
after all you said "all men are alike"
Just because I said "I Do"
Well, " I Do" so there I said it twice
unlike all the rest of the men

Sliding Door On a Van

It's just descriptive
but you my take it a different way
I can smell the mix of us in that article of clothing
leaving the situation too abruptly
I'm not innocent of knowing
like a dream inside of a dream
life is so much better more
fascinating than fiction
your second chance I hope you realize and a risk on love you don't miss
here you are walking away
there I am in a burning building situation and looking for the exit
there I am driving down the street
when for a couple more conversations and moments with you
I should've stayed
it's just descriptive
but you may take it a different way
