Premium MemberYou Alight From Moonbeam

The scarlet sun has sunk in the horizon low,
ebony night descends through the twilight glow.
Shimmering stars sprout silently one by one,
their cosmic dance in the stellar sky has begun.

From the cascade of moonbeam you alight,
I see you sparkle in the silver shine of starlight.

The cloud clumps drift away at the fall of night,
the glimmer of your grace captures my sight.
I float with the sequins of moon under sapphire sky,
my dormant desire to reach you soars high.

From the cascade of moonbeam you alight,
I see you sparkle in the silver shine of starlight.

On the glittering golden beach of the indigo sea,
you walk melodic steps in the rhythm of waves I see.
The rolling swells bring from afar the posy of pearls,
adorn your ivory feet with lovely lattice of curls.

From the cascade of moonbeam you alight
I see you sparkle in the silver shine of starlight.

You walk like an angel on my garden’s floral trail,
face radiates charm behind the moonshine veil.
As you come close and ardently embrace me,
my heart beats at the pace of heavenly rhapsody.

From the cascade of moonbeam you alight,
I see you sparkle in the silver shine of starlight.

To Avoid Carnal Knowledge, Daphne Turns into an Oak

What’s happening is clearly understood.
Apollo has one hand around her waist,
one predator, one quarry, interlaced.
He’s coming up behind her (which is good),
but she’s a tree (two lovers, getting wood!)
She’d rather change her state than be disgraced,
preferring to be chaste than to be chased.
She’s choosing abstinence, above life's blood.
Is love a trauma, to be undergone?
Arousal something ugly, to be faced?
Should Nature’s process be looked down upon?
The carnal act, a tactless lapse of taste?
Or might the thing be ardently embraced?
We, formless fragments, merging in The One?

Premium MemberEmily Dickinsons Burial

It may seem a cruel tragedy
that Amherst’s greatest poet Emily
Dickinson never got to marry
though she burned ardently to be.
And yet in Death (if you’ll allow)
she did eventually get laid –
not in a man’s bed but a pine box
and (if you’ll allow) this paradox
she still remains a chaste old maid.

Tuirse

I have been in unequaled turmoil,
Overused in my personal trauma,
Drowning in tear rivers of tragedy,
Soul dipping southward trajectory,
But they do not seep from these eyes,
Nor do they follow the cries,
Just the heavy emptiness that thrives,
Within each breath hope in me dies,
But then there are those who remind me,
Why I have walked the road of words ardently,
Thank you for reigniting my linguistic dream,
I want you to know,
that you are the intrinsic thread that holds my spirit seem.

The Heavy Cross Of Pain

Who else can bear the heavy cross of pain:
if not us who ardently profess Christ?
Haven't we been blessed by His light?
Aren't good deeds and kind words a gain?

Jesus was the humblest of kings,
no crown for his head but thorns;
He fell but still and carried the heavy cross of pain
to His death: women wiped the blood off His chin!

Put on these shoulders the heavy cross of pain,
I have to feel what he felt to understand Him fully;
I'll be mocked and whipped on the way to Calvary:
there mother will touch me and hold me again!

Carry your heavy cross of pain and glorify Him,
without His sacrifice we would be souls lost to sin;
we'll be laughed at and even be humiliated by them,
they have no love: they are as lawless as evil Cain!

Their Last Moment Of Glory

This uncompromising Sunday
has agreed to let us enjoy
what is left of a boring day
as we ardently seek the brief presence
of a radiant sunset resembling red clay,
attesting the inevitable evidence.

The purple lilacs and pink tulips gently sway,
nobody listens to the crickets' soothing sounds;
early at sunrise they were inundated by big waves
and torrents of unmerciful rain pelting on the bay.

Every Bayberry and Crape Myrtle shrub has fragrant flowers,
they attract Sandpipers, Snowy Plovers and Monarch Butterflies;
they all feast on them, then they take off with incredible swiftness:
while the tranquil and brilliant sea resounds with various shrills.

I spot from far the noisy seagulls landing on the Church's steeple,
scattering the Gray Catbirds huddled on long cable wires that were
listening to the choir of faithful marching out with glowing smiles,
cherishing their last moment of glory under brilliant September's skies.

unnamed piece

In my pointless existence, my only purpose, you, my beloved. I peek at your lips and listen intently as if I was your devoted disciple and you the high priestess (of my heart) (...). I seek words as they clash within the depths but alas I remain a mere spectator. I wish for another's prayer to help me surge feelings within you awaiting my purpose to bloom But, in the same prayer, beg that this longing remains a mere wish, untouched, neglected but still burning ardently like Troilus's love.

Premium MemberI am Happiness

I am Happiness, you all ardently seek.
I stay elusive from many of your grasp.
With my talisman, I make hearts bright that are bleak.
If grown selfish, I will slip off your clasp.
Won’t board with the haughty, but the meek.

Premium MemberCool Fever

When I see him standing in the doorway
with that luscious grin upon his lips,
I cannot turn away
although I’m feeling flushed
as if a fever has grabbed a hold of me!

I meet his seductive gaze
and hope he cannot see
that I’m beginning to perspire.
Oh, cool cool fever; it has taken hold again.
How easily his being near me
causes me to sweat.

How can I feel so suddenly the chills
going through my body
while simultaneously
my temperature is rising?
Hot, hot, hot is his physicality..
Hot-blooded I become just seeing him.
Fever floods my body as I tremble
with the anticipation of his mere touch.
How ardently he wraps his arms around me.
How fervently he kisses me
in all the places that he knows
I’m wanting to be kissed.
Higher and higher my fever rises.
Only he can bring me what I long for
until at last I shiver
at the climax of our passion.

The fever subsides
but I know it won’t be long before
cool fever will again catch hold of me!

Premium MemberOnly Good Wishes

An enthralling entrancing time of the year,
When we are pensive and reflect on spiritual bliss,
Memories come back tiptoeing, joyful or sad,
Treasured friends and loved ones - we reminisce!

Emerald waves breaking on sand, griefs and
Heartaches, overwhelm with remorse, and care,
In the innermost, saddest corner of our mind,
Ring some unsought tinge of dismal despair.

Not aware who my scornful enemies were,
Never thought, disliked anyone with contempt,
Prayed ardently for their safety and wellbeing,
No harm was asked for, absolutely no attempt!

Let all human beings live in harmony…negativity,
Enmity doesn't solve any bitter problem,
Wishing happiness for everyone, close and far,
My heart feels peaceful, delighted, and solemn!

“Collecting life’s treasure from the moments of bliss I walk the last mile” - Quote by Poet

In the vibrant life’s changing dynamic landscape,
the pathway across the undulating topography
meandered to the nebulous future beyond escape.

I configured desire in the template of transient time,
and the designed footprints of the dormant destiny
I followed ardently in beguiled mental state sublime.

Many surging streams in spate I swam in the storm
with the unfurling buds of nascent dreams held close
to the adoring heart, lest they wither and deform.

Through the rainbow arch in the chromatic sky
as I chased in the floral valley the passion butterfly,
my ardent yearning on its wings soared high.

As the spent sun sinks in the horizon’s fading color pile,
on the faint trail of time covered by twilight dust,
with the cornucopia of fulfilled life I walk the last mile.

Traversing content the unpaced pathway out of abyss,
lighted by the benevolent glow of God’s grace,
I look back to see the snapshots of the moments of bliss.

Don'T Look Back

"scared"
"I'm getting off"
Still, my bike ride continued
everyday I cried and closed my eyes
I begged ardently
feeling father's hand, we went forward
"Dad, are you holding it?"
"Are you holding the bike well?"
in a large playground
there was father and me alone
already a month
I was just falling wheeling
I couldn't even ride my bike for a few minutes
every time like this
Father
with one hand
wrapped up my back and shoulders
with the other hand
prevented the bike from falling over
we were moving towards the finish line
little by little
when it getting dark
Returning home,
Father whispered in my ear
"Don't look back!"
"Yes"
At sunset, we stood at the starting line of the playground
Again
I pedaled harder than any other day
The bike flew forward like a flying bird
The finish line began to appear before my eyes
listening to father's tired breathing and footsteps
I felt father's hand so
I was able to keep our promise
i knew
Father, not with hands, but with love
like a bike,
he was holding on to my life.

The blooming buds unfurl with the touch of dawn,
like the day unfolding in the spring sky dreamy.
As the southern zephyr ripples in my lawn,
I see the dulcet dance of charming daisy.

The flowers blossom in the bough of serene silence,
look up ardently at the arc of the sliding sun,
soaking its illumined purity as the essence,
into heavenly beauty on earth they turn.

As the night melts in the sun-soaked horizon of hue,
and the morning mist slowly drifts and ascends,
in my floral meadow I descry a surreal view,
as from the sky sapphire dust descends.

The divine afterglow pulsates with fragrant cadence,
suffuses my weary mind with gorgeous grace,
enshrined in the patina of pristine innocence,
like the placid radiance of your face.

Yearning so very long for your elusive embrace,
with the flowers of my garden I’ll make a posy,
within the alluring vase of desire I will place
with my heart hidden in happy daisy.

Questions of Moment

Do we grow too old for the moment,
too old for the visions and thoughts,
which, though seeming ephemeral,
live longest of all things on earth?

Do we cast away hoping and dreaming
but cleave to all that is seen?
Do we deem what is passing substantial
and what shall abide but a dream?

Was love brought by a moment,
by a moment stolen away?
Did the fire that burned most ardently
turn the soonest ashen-grey?
