Be Amazed

Do you have a logical or enquiring mind ?
do you search for  the 'why',  that you want to find ?
do you wonder why,  we're here at all ?
the answers near, across the wall.

First take a look, at plants on earth
it's the biggest 'factory' for living things
and feeds the sea, for you, for me
and for all the creatures, that walk or wings.

It's takes it's energy from the sun
plants system , makes a billion tons
of sugars yearly, its conversion stuns
and one hundred times coal heat, no skeptic won

This is a snippet of what plants can do
if your an enquiring mind , is it by divine , design ?
or is it an accident it came about ?
Look to the earth, the answer....shouts.

Hate Seems Everywhere

Another election year
Hate seems everywhere 
A mist of righteousness fills the air
Hate seems everywhere
Everywhere just look around 
Hate so easy to be found
Unamazed why so many choose it
It is so easily to be fueled 
Amazed how so many find it 
So easily to be cruel
Hate seems everywhere 
Everywhere, all around. 
An unpleasant stench that surrounds
Turn down the discouraging nouns
Hate seems everywhere 
Spew through emotions so unclear
Grooms an ignored atmosphere 
in abyss of life's despair
Fed by paranoia and told fears
Becomes a common behavior 
around election year 
Hate seems everywhere

Amazed

Greater than all, it seems,
Across a veil, Jesus beams,
I'm amazed by grace,
Choose positives for every race,
Today's Christian living,
Our gifts are for the giving,
Blessed smiles on every face,
Amazed, daily prayers in space....

My poppa's prank

I'd sit on his lap, content as can be,
until he'd slide those dentures out
and giggle with glee..
My two year old self would reach out
to grab, he'd suck them back in
before I could nab..
With time as I began to age his
talented teeth ceased to amaze.
No longer two and as wide-eyed,
I'd yell "stupid Poppa" and
from his lap slide..

 out to Glory
 submissive letters 
joint together
 making words 
a praise intimately 
spoken sentences

I stand amazed

I stand amazed, and what do I see? Only God's wonderful love for me.
I stand amazed, and what beauty! I see God reaching down and rescuing me.
Yes, I stand amazed, and what do I see? God's beautiful face as He smiles at me.
I stand amazed, and what do I see? God's unconditional love that He offers me.
I stand amazed, and what do I see? an amazing love that is, oh, so free.
I stand amazed at the grace I see, His grace, and the pardon He gives freely to me.
I stand amazed, and what do I see? I see Christ's sacrifice on Calvary's tree.
I stand amazed, and what do I see? His wonderful grace is sufficient for me.
Yes, I stand amazed, and what do I see?
God's amazing grace truly amazes me.

Santa and Rudolph Amazed - POTD -

Cold night and with the breeze, leaves were swinging, 
Santa and Rudolph stopped puzzled they heard 
From a small chapel, children were singing
Carols for Yuletide, such lovely each word.

I Was Amazed That He Pushed the Television Over With His Foot

I remember when I was a young man, 

My manager has a sense of some place to go. He was a er, a screw head, a person that would not take it anymore. A man that stood up against the scum, the s the dogs, the filth, the . After meeting a person with allegations of guinea pigs and a court date for molesting his sister.
I watched my managers head, explode, because in an email the probational officer never said “hello, Hi, or my name”, “its “so ing rude” as she “makes me want to ing  leave, I dislike her and can't work with her”! “SO, SO, So MUCH I'm thinking of quitting, because of HER”.

Some days I get bad ideas in my head. Next, I’m talking to the receptionist, and I tell her about a date tomorrow.
I told her my reservations, regarding meeting someone “she has two children” and “It' was hard to get over one boy”. “Dave, you have not met her yet, don’t think about the end”. People are cold and distant. 

I smile as both the movie and life is true.

Be Amazed

Be amazed by your strength,
it was given to you before your name was spoken.
Your strength is adored by many;
those who knew of your arrival.
They waited, patiently, knowing you are their merit.
Humble, mighty people who paved your way.
You stand on their shoulders, forever looking high.
Never turning back, only to regain their strength.
They walk with you; still, hold your head high,
for many are aimed to follow.
Steady your pace, walk on their green earth.
Know their steps, and unearth unturned stones, lessons are to be learned.
Be amazed by your strength;
