Glistening on seas of pearl like caches, Pouring out music, softly playing In the rhythms of beautiful, Still as the moon, who colors the autumn In reflections of soothing, comforting Tunes – songs blessed by the calm, Lulling hearts to tender, Easing the nights, who’ll surrender To the embrace of God’s gentle grace. Painting the wind in vibrant chills, Listening to the silence, Brewing teas of light and love, Balancing wonder and whimsical, Inviting the notes of hope to soar, Snatched by the twilight, Evening sailing through the soul, In soundless rhythms, Songs meant to heal the spirit. Stirring the stars with a vision of peace, Risking it all for the joy, the belief, Resulting in choices, One for you – one for me, Will I only hear what the Lord has meant for me? Will I only know the love that He sent for me? On moments, arising in the soul, Moments of glory, Will I finally know – the love that God bestowed On those who hear and believe, Those who know that Jesus is their greatest need, Those who can see the forest for the trees, Those who grow silent…. Because He lived and died for me, He brought the heart His victory, He sealed the fate of hearts who believe, He broke the chains for you and me! Will I know… the joy that comes to souls Who simply believe the story of God’s love, Brought down from heaven, in the form of a babe? Will I know… the meaning of a love that sacrificed, grieved? The meaning of a light who shines across the seas? The meaning of a peace that sings hope and grace? The meaning of a night when God came to change… not only my heart and soul, but every dream, each thought, with love that sings His song, love that sings all day long, love that has been all along… love that is meant to grow strong, in the heart He heals from all wrong… the heart who believes He is the One… who came to save us from the sorrow of a life without the love that He begot, when He faced the darkness with His light, a light that shines through the mud and muck, gives hope to the sinner who repents, looks at the past with a sigh, tells the Father that, through Jesus, He’ll know the answers, the hows and whys, Because it is the love of Jesus, the spotless lamb, Who came to save this soul from a future so grim, Who came to save a life from futility, Who came to save us all from pride, Bringing us the light with a humility That comes to those who believe In this Jesus who saves and sees A better you, a better me…. The source of this love is more amazing than words, It is the music of God’s voice, singing His awesome promise… If we just believe, in time… we’ll sing in harmony With angels, who praise the King of Kings, Love so amazing it bewilders even the trees.
