The Alchemist's Lament

I spake: "Thy love's grief dwelleth in my core,
A breast brim-full with sorrows, evermore.

So long as in my head thy tumult lies,
Vain phantasies I bear, by nights, by sighs.

An hundred years have flown, yet not thy grace;
Save grief of parting, naught is my embrace.

In vigil lone, my heart with blood was stained,
By rival's tyranny, in

I trace your absence 
In the hush of midnight’s sigh, 
your laughter haunts the empty air, 
Each whisper a wound and a lullaby. 

My tears fall like silent art, 
A testament to love that burned too bright— 

But in this echo of shattered dreams, 
I feel the strength within the sting. 
Fragments of us remain

We Were Never 'I'

Within this sanctum
of breath and bone—
ten trillion anchorites
mimic their devotions.

Bacteria threading
blood’s vermilion rivers
braiding holy water
into the cathedral
of now.

Their alchemy transmutes
starlight
into the wine of existence—
decanted
from Orion’s mythical vine.

Viruses—
those threshold wraiths
between being
and unbeing—
inscribe new verses
in the living gospel
of our chromosomes.

Fungi a cappella
in mycelial tongues
through marrow’s moaning chambers
decomposing resurrection
from each small death
we die.

We are not hosts—
but cantatas
still composing

In the palm of nightforest and rain 
I leave imprints on sands ,
my  flesh baked by the elements --my nipples and breasts darting towards the sky in full radiance of an alchemy,

With an ethereal elegance 
Building blocks of native and alien elements
An almost supernatural air of eloquence 

A medium in it's patron's hands
Suddenly will gasp and shudder
Just as time was borne of sands
A flame in it ignite and flutter

A something out of nothing

But none are quite as shocked

My environment expands,
Provides all I need.

I feel just how rich my life is.

Poured into the empty goblets of thirsty minds,
