Heartbroken
I trace your absence
In the hush of midnight’s sigh,
your laughter haunts the empty air,
Each whisper a wound and a lullaby.
My tears fall like silent art,
A testament to love that burned too bright—
But in this echo of shattered dreams,
I feel the strength within the sting.
Fragments of us remain in every breath,
A garden of could-have-been watered by tears—
Heartbreak may fracture, but it doesn’t end:
From these shards, hope learns to mend.
