WISE suggests the best utilization and application of knowledge.

INHERENT in every act of true wisdom is the presence of God.

SOLOMON is believed to be the wisest king that has ever lived.

EDUCATION is not simply the absorption of man-based knowledge.

MANKIND wanders in the wilderness if there is no wisdom.

EVOLUTION that leaves God out of the equation lacks wisdom.

NEW Ideas having little to no appreciation for history are suspect.

Premium MemberTreasures

From the inspired text of the Biblical story,
The Wisemen opened unto Jesus their treasures.
This Christmas, what treasures have we for Jesus?
Most of us do not have gold, frankincense, or myrrh,
but we all have a treasury of something that God desires.
Let's consider a few of the prospective valuables we possess;
Things that really are more valuable than the Wisemen's treasury;
valuables dear to us that we heavily guard and deeply treasure.
I suggest that giving such things to Jesus makes us more like him.

Our Time
Our Religion
Our Education
Our Ambitions
Our Success
Our Usefulness
Our Relationships
Our Egotism
Our Self-interest/Self-image

Each bon mot melts with
Nuanced, age-old symbolic flavors --
Growing, changing, challenging me.
Language arts baffle me.
Institutional norms perplex me.
Slowly, I listen for that precise sound.
History’s echoes bounce off my walls,
Heaving meanings like so many dock workers.
Overhead, cargoes glide by glistening in the sun.
Movers eye the carts going forward.
Only I stand still.
Purposefully, I dream of…
Houses filled with treasures – elegant libraries!
Open-hearted, I find and survey my grotto.
Nothing seems impossible as I
Enter into a new dwelling and
Seek to be transformed.

Premium MemberDeceitfulness

Denying the truth is deceitful

Evil and goodness cannot co-exist

Counterfeit is a substitute for the real

Erroneous information can be misinformation

Ignorance is neither blessed nor blissful

'Truth is not absolution' is becoming the new normal

Fake and falsification will destroy a society

Undermining reality is self defeating

Leveling the playing field

Need not promote ignorance

Education is its own reward

Salvation by many different ways is deceitful

Secularism is the choice of this new and present age

Two groups but one stays a minor to be managed
Under another and rough is the written page
Training close to a better is a good adage
Education in any form is beyond age
Learning under supervision and void of rage
Authority over another for the wage
Governments, firms and businesses are mostly the stage
Expression of self but restricted by some cage

Available options stand the bile as they make the will bent
Massachusetts may be best for the holiday to be spent
But the rod of its weather may hit the comfort of its rent
Indecision, glorified from knowledge’s available dent
Vague is their understanding to a result from what they meant
Abstract control and power, making the priest eat meat in lent
Light, maybe heavy, not knowing where the definition went
Eight out of twenty, in idea makes contribution absent
No end point, as in midway, the anger of shortcoming vent
Thought or decision, on many roads, leading to no tent

Mental stretching, the required sacrifice
Addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
To all exercises, these four are the basics
Hell on paper but sweet in its understanding
Equations and formula, serving as raw products
Mastering the existence of numbers to gain its wisdom
Arithmetics also in a graphical representation
Then its technicalities in shapes and planes
Into life's activities, these applications silently integrate
Calculation of numbers and expressions
Sum up all problems via solutions to an answer.
