Yellow
"Smiles are free so give them away." By Poet
That weekend started with a simple,
smile and hello. A double date on Saturday, another one on Sunday. Then he was on his way, would I ever see him again.
He wrote to me,
I answered back with perfumed stationary.
A special letter came,
he wanted to see me again. I wrote back when,
soon was his reply. He bought his ticket, my girlfriend said he could stay with them. We counted the days,
they went by at a snails pace.
Then I found myself at the airport, come on plane where are you.
When he walked in, he found me dressed in his favorite color.
I was wearing yellow, from my head to my toes.
