To My Muse

All night I was ensnared by the thought of you, An unexpected yet enchanting muse, Lost in the labyrinth of your deep, haunting eyes, A smoldering ember of desire within me lies. Your passionate whispers, a seductive symphony, Unapologetic affection setting us both free. To trace the trails of your warm, silken skin, Knocking softly at your door, as you let me in. Your embrace, a refuge from the chill of the night, As we entwine beneath the moon’s silver light, Breathless sighs and fervent moans, You ascend atop me, you’re my queen and I’m your throne In this nocturnal realm, you reign supreme, A midnight monarch in a gothic dream.

Congratulations,! Since it was 3 years before i was a POTD,i know it’s a real stand-on-the-cake moment! Took my breath away. This is masterfullydone. Personally, i interpreted it as loving your muse to getting not only inspiration but some blissful s***#@“%69….too? or am i just a dirty old lady? Superfaster-than-a-speeding-bullet penning!

Sassy Sally brings her Nasty!!! and I’m loving it. ;0 your not a dirty old Lady, (but if you are, even just a little, that’s ok), you are amongst good company, no judgement here! This is the edited and toned down version too. A smoldering desire, can rage into a ferocious, fervent flame.

A funny side note, “The Hypocrite” was inspired by a fellow bard here at PS ;-) a not so warm welcome when I first joined. It is one of my favorite pieces. Inspiration pops up in such unexpected places, A sliver of light illuminates the darkest of spaces. We shared a serendipitous meeting, But our moment was ever fleeting.
