When you walk through the fog beware of dogs - In fog one may even bump into hogs - They’ll grunt or they'll bark - Whatever they art - But if you hear a croak in fog it’s frogs…… Belle

Bill, that was a brilliant and amusing limerick. This poem provided me with a wealth of pleasure. While I'm reading it, you make me laugh out loud. True. When there is a dense fog, it is quite difficult to distinguish anything.

Glad you got a laugh out of it my friend. Fog can make a man think he is seeing things that aren't there. Have a great week! Bill

The fog does play tricks on the eye. I not too long ago while driving I saw a Hog being walked on a leash. I had to take a second glance Bill. Fog does do that to the eyes. Thanks for sharing...

When there is fog, the eyes get blurred that it is difficult to distinguish between a dog and a hog! From a distance an elephant may seem a tall rock. The last line explains everything ! Enjoyed your limerick Bill ! Love and hugs....

dog or hog? Hog or dog? I saw a cat that ran like a dog once - when it got closer I saw it was a bobcat.
