I F I Could

..............................If I could scoop every tear ever shed for LOVE Create an ocean of emotion opened to one and A L L A mingling of passions, dreams, a host of family POETS If I could collect mankind’s memories : THOUGHTS From the beginning of time , the beginning of : FEELINGS Astute minds , with quill in hand, record the first EMOTIONS If I could gather all the pieces of a broken HEART Mend , sew it back together : forgetting the pain it FELT Throbs ; with new vigor : beating a love song of POETRY If I could write as my fellow Poets on “POETRYSOUP” I WOULD Dedicated to All the POETS on POETRYSOUP

HG, You, my fellow poet, write extremely well. This poem form is so unique. You need to name it and if possible run a contest requiring poets to write in that form (whatever you name it) Your legacy will be born. I don't recall ever seeing a poem before where the end words create an image of their own as does the poem as a whole. (Am I right or wrong?) Have a wonderful day. Lovinglt, Dane
