those that don't read, probably do live in a dark world, intentionally choosing ignorance and loss of personal freedom as a result. Well said, Ms. Lisa...hugs from us

Dear Sara. Good Morning. How beautiful the thought of living in the colors of vivid childhood dreams. To me that's the best place to be because such memories are the best for all obvious reasons. Thank you for sharing your poetic talent and beauty with us. Have a wonderful morning and day. May it be filled with everything good. Peace and Blessings always. (smile)

A lovely tanka, dear Sara, the swinger delights in the breathtaking view as they smoothly swing back and forth. They take in the crisp autumn air while gazing up at the spectacular tapestry of color formed by the shifting leaves. The peaceful melody of the river soothes the ears, blending with the cheerful chirping of birds perched on nearby trees.

thanks for stopping by, dear Sotto. Your comments were poetic and mindful. As a child I loved swinging in the trees at a nearby park, letting the autumn air lift me higher. I felt so peaceful and so secure. You described that feeling quite well. I appreciate your mindful comments. Hope you had a splendid Sunday, Sara

I still enjoy swinging, only not soaring so high these days. A front porch swing does quite nicely to daydream of what used to be and what yet may come. Our dreams can be vivid at any age. Sweet thoughts, Sara.
