Hi Sunshine Smile congratulations dear sis, on the honor bestowed on you today, of POTD. The Greeks have something similar and the English but they both call it rice pudding, the Greek one is made in a pot on the kitchen stove and the English one in the oven, both are great, maybe we have an ancestral connection! deliciously delicious my friend. I call it "rice pudding", but I'm sure it's all the same. I also like mine with raisins. Congrats on POTD, Anne-Lise.

- Rice pudding (with red sauce) is a cold dessert ... made from the same ingredients as this warm porridge, Jim ... many people like raisins or apple on top :) - hugs

- Not oats but rice, Jenna - We also make oatmeal ... but not for Christmas :) - Cooked in milk + cream when it is made for Christmas :)
