Tears in fraying waves Caught in an undercurrent water monsters devoured reason Beyond the realms of indolence and doubt Shadows on a stormy day The words entered my heart as icicles Dumb, as the broken oak branch A cuckoo in the nest, your lover and you still unknown for guilt The woods aren't full of bluebells Love's dew evaporates, your disguise has been changed My lot, the remnants of emptiness passion - an intuition Heartbroken by the revelation of life

Large and strong outwardly, but always brittle of heart when it comes to matters of love. No greater pain than betrayal or just a cooling of once amorous fires. Well stated. I have always said, if a good poem comes out of a romantic crash -- then it was worth it! Blessings my friend.
