(Poetic form :: Oyda Sonnet)
Erotomania is a rare condition.
It’s a biased view, special type of delusion where
the affected person believes, feels and would dare
to think other person secretly is in affair.
Often think that person speaks in coded signs to share
talks to show love, which he can’t declare publicly.
Feels that person leaves clues as signal cunningly
to show love, contacting through telepathy lovingly.
Although, this fantasy in mind can start sublimely
but the symptoms are very often long lasting.
This delusion persists commonly without asking
despite facts seen as opposite for this passion lastly.
The acts to it linked are continual efforts
to make contact or some behaviors, driven
with belief person sends secret thought, makes effort
to send messages back, as he would envision.

The Marionettist(Goffa Sonnet), By Himanshu singla, From India

Hallucinated and hubristic dolts,
Mere marionettes in mortal journey,
Think that they can dominate destiny.
Ukrain suffered sins it didn’t committed,
Facing what wicked Putin permitted,
Whilst Sri lankans are still shaking from jolts.
Human lives were wonderful and vivid,
A dark demon devoured all our colors,
Made us unhealthy,unstable dullers.
An agent of gloom and anxiety,
It even munched mightiest of the mighty,
Smartest species lost to dreaded covid.
Firm faith and belief in our deity,
A trust that he is our marionettist
Doubtless devotion for the almighty,
Is the only way to pierce murky mist.

A soft pink hue that kisses each green tree —
With spring, her fauna flora on display.
All bees and birds attend this gorgeous day,
the sun’s warmth reaching, touches tender boughs.
As nature’s play debuts her finest free
for all to view, puts forth her finest show,
new fronds they dance in breezes’ mellow flow,
young florets paint with splashing pastels bright —
First butterflies appear like flitting leaves,
the king arrives, his colors’ vibrant sight
like all of nature shines right through his light.
He comes and goes; he is the monarch free.
The seasons’ drama best unfolds in spring
which weather, insects, plants, and creatures bring.

The flowers bloom in reds, blues and yellows
Petals opening whisper their “hello’s”
The fresh and beautiful views of the spring
Inspiring with the new life it brings
Such a sad day when it does have to go
It seems that it’s gone right as it arrives
Spring disappears in the blink of the eyes
Replaced by longer nights and shorter days
For benefits reaped, a man always pays
When summer descends it starts the demise
Yet nothing compares to dark winter gloom
Surrounded by the four walls of your room.

Wollo Sonnet
It will be a long time before I can forget,
For deep within my heart the remembrance has been set
Of that magic night as with the prince I met,
At a venue that was redolent of romance.
During a ball in Vienna, by lucky chance,
The gallant prince had bowed, and had asked me to dance,
I followed in his footsteps as though in a trance,
Feeling as though my feet had barely touched the ground.
As His Handsome Highness whirled me round and around,
So much sheer strength in those muscular arms I found,
All of my dreams in his dear company were bound,
It was a night I had wanted never to end.
But what was I apart from one more pretty face,
One more girlish body for a young man to hold,
One more frothy creation of satin and lace,
And yet to me, a memory now I am old.

Omo-Valley Sonnet
First spring blossom adorns my Cherry tree
While rest of the buds on its branches sleep
That one graceful pink blossom its flagship
Weather has changed course, it’s today snowing
White snow rests on branches to some degree
As if all the buds have bloomed and filling
That jinxed blossom all alone and freezing
It now must be feeling so ill fated
Today’s hot spring sun shines again mighty
Snow melts, blossom happy it’s not cheated
It grows stronger feeling more beloved
Today all the buds bloom, such a party
Now that a powerful storm has passed by
All blossoms are gone, first one, still stands by
As I beheld her face, a waking dream
a picture of such beauty, warmth and grace
star-struck angel, descended from above
feelings flight, airborne, fluttered like a dove
Cupids arrows path, shoots a ray unseen
the bridge of feeling to our meeting place
to where romance could blossom from the start
the moon drawn down, all heaven there to chart
Together as we basked in pale moonbeams
a courtship that was truly interlaced
romance be seeds, not turned to fields of scrub
to turn her head, would quicken any blood
Flaxen hair, skin that shines with youthful sheen
sweet butterfly, virtue never seen shamefaced
I as a drone, respect my queens demands
true troth the swear, my duty as a man
Fountain of words, came as a silver stream
for I must woo this pretty maid with haste
as on one knee, I stoop to set the scene
acceptance, my world in a state of grace

Poet Kostas Lagos From Greece
Clouds turn purple in the sky
making mountains stand in awe
A witch jealously sharps her claw
casts a spell to stop the mosquito’s song
The flying insect makes a ribbon red
so it will tie the mountains’ hands
before they shoot the clouds dead
leaving only the fog able to fly
Happy colors roam the lands
clouds washed with rain the witch’s tongue

How soon has Time, that tactless thief of youth,
Become, in manner, quite avoiding truth?
Usurped wings for that one-and-twentieth glow!
Your dashing days dart on with crammed career;
Your maidenhood, so near, arrived so clear,
It still will be severe in ways quite even:
Where Time will lead you kindly forth to Heaven.
But your late Spring lets buds and blossoms show
How days have kindly been and not uncouth.
Sweet pilgrim, you have judged your lips too much;
Know, sweetheart’s hands, with Saints, have common touch.
I trust your noble self still thinks of this
And, palm to palm, we seal such pilgrim’s kiss.
Give me my sin once more, dear sweetened breath;
I cannot live unless you spare me death.

Have you not come across such person in work life?
She’s charming, talks too well; colleagues’ hearts won;
Colleagues adored her, she knows how to wield;
Sans juniors, she is liked by each and everyone
She’ll go out of way to praise one, her liking revealed
compliment her peers for work, through words healed
bosses liked her contribution in work life.
Juniors were mistreated by her for small issues
Right information she used to hold, shared to none
blame for incompetence, her harsh words heart breaks
She’s charming, talks too well; colleagues loved to work;
Her temper fickle, juniors fear her for their mistakes
true feelings juniors suppressed, hide their aches;
juniors afraid to face her even for small issues.
Juniors want to avoid her to talk on suggestions
colleagues liked her behavior, she knows how to exert.
In management jargon she’s known as KU/ KD leader.
This type of leader is middle-level employee
very polite, read the boss’s mind like a mind-reader!
but strict to juniors, to find faults always eager
Bosses liked her ever ready talk on suggestions.
Sadly, Kiss-Up / Kick-Down(KU/KD) persons may outdone,
spread her influence but suffer in the long run;
for not getting heartfelt support from junior workers
because juniors simply follow the stated orders.

Golden honey of sun lights’ rays, behold
the nation filled with a thunderous blight,
terrible its disease, latching on tight.
Darkness’ claws tear at three tendons, telling
of a people who turn to drugs, yelling
about injustices they themselves caused.
Unto them it was souls of others sold
to keep a peace, a piece others now hold.
A deceptive haze surrounds salted lands,
sour the taste, sweet the haste, working hands
grip the last straws of a distant calling.
Is it worth it to stay in place, falling?

All the birds have taken flight to a warmer place,
Beyond the imagination of snowy woods,
Ice waltzing on the twigs, swinging assorted moods,
Robin alone singing a song in his own embrace,
Snowflakes caressing trees; just to appease,
White upon white layers, inlaid with nature’s grace,
The nests are deserted at the land that broods,
The foggy vista concealing my feelings umpteen,
I’m trudging on tiptoes; towards the destiny unseen.

by Lou Woodfae, from Wyoming
At the window, watching it snow
those great big, fat, fluffy flakes;
it makes me come alive, feel awake.
Why it does this to me, I’ll never know.
I may have just turned seventy,
but I feel like a twelve year-old girl.
Oh, how snowstorms can transform my world
from dry to a landscape that’s heavenly.
That white stuff makes my happy heart glow
when I look out and get to see it snow.

Cinder cones are twined around my mind, seem limed
Like splashes of firmed lava emitting from a vent
When my wry thoughts are blown inwards I ascent
As if I’m anxiously holding a gun that’s primed
Fail to see wide arrays of light shining down on me
Given my actions and reactions always seem wrongly timed
Like striding meadow mid rainstorms though I love the scent
Never pictured life to become so shallow and tiresome
Like having a threesome with phantoms, sin my ransom

‘Muhapatti’ directly linked to ahimsa and aimed
not to hurt one, not even an insect;
Muni feels for Ahimsa it’s best way
Wearing face mask is needed now a day.
‘Muhapatti’ reminds them to take care with words chosen
to speak, ensure not to hurt emotion.
They feel ‘Vaak shuddhi’, purity of speech
is needed for Ahimsa what they teach.

Joe Biden’s nonstich
Joe Biden’s nonstich is a nine by nine poem, means a nine line with 9 syllable per line. The style was invented when the poet was writing a piece on a street, and the US Embassy of Ethiopia, Addis Ababa’s HR Department called him to take the first recruitment examination after many job vacancy applications failures of him; then he called it Joe Biden Nonnet and went to take the IELTS test in the Embassy’s compound. That was so good , they called him to be interviewed in the next day by telling as the poet scored the level that they desired to be achieved; he went to be interviewed and answered what they wanted to be retorted but not hired yet. This style has this story.
— Rhyme scheme is aaaabcdea
— syllable per line 9
President Biden stands up to Putin
calls him nothing but a rambutan
challenges the highfalutin
if he keeps going will shoot in
President Putin is not afraid
calling President Biden a buffoon
preparing to call his cosmic bluff
president Putin willing to wage war
President Putin sees Rasputin
I say! Once more into the fray!
My pen as the sword causes dismay
My forgiven foes on their knees pray
As their hatred I managed to slay
I swallow their poison and spit gold
And with truth bring forth secrets of old
For each sinner reaps what he has sowed
Many by the pen or by the sword
With pride we fold before the old God.
River birch and its yellowish leaves
Paint of its fair leaves never grieves
When its pinkish bark peels it just gives
Beige tan to henna its oversleeves
Those papery sheets over its bark
Transit renewal to fertile spring
Migrating sparrows its seeds allure
Forest’s jewel be its golden bark
One of Lord’s closest kind relatives

mists ghosted by in layered veils shining through the gloom
flat and unruffled like pewter plate portending doom
with little wind to fill her sails our minds were ill at ease
the pirate Captain hid his ship behind the misty haze

we urged the coming of a wind to grant us fighting room
the pirates threw a ranging ball close across our bow
we ran out larboard guns, a few broadsides would allow.

Dorthe-Gammo Style
Dorthe-Gammo Style of Poetry has an Octave structure of poetry with a rhyme scheme of abbcdeaB and two anaphoras.
Rule of Dorthe-Gammo Poem
1) Rhyme Scheme abbcdeaB2 ; B2 is the 2nd strophe of the 2nd line.
2) You can do more stanzas
3) The 1st line 1st strophe and the 2nd line 2nd strophe are connected to form the last line
4) Syllable 7–14 per line
The human memory is a trickster,
So much remembered should be forgotten,
Trivialities that will turn rotten,
There is so much we should not forget,
But somehow or other, we let it go,
I suspect most memories are based on emotion,
And so will become a fixture:
The human memory retains much that should be forgotten.
This discrepancy is one I have met
Time and again — it amuses me so,
There are yawning chasms in my memory’s flow,
Events of which I have no notion:
Part of my past has crept quietly away,
To where it can never be retrieved,
At least, it never has been yet,
This discrepancy is one that amuses me so.

Rhyme’s syllable poetry [Deductive or Inductive] is not about stressed or unstressed; not about meters of iambs, trochees, spondees, anapests and dactyls but a mere thought of a style of poetry.
Rules
1) You can determine the line of your stanza
2) Based on your determination each line needs to have syllables equal with your lines number. Example if your lines in the stanza are 9, each line should have 9 syllables count.
You should choose a 1 syllable word at the end rhyme of the first line.
Example: I really love you ……6/1 … as you see you have 1 syllable only out of the total 6 syllable (6/1)
3) The second line should have two syllables in the rhyme family.
Example:
My call of a true woo…….6/2
True and woo are in one rhyme family so have two syllable totally.
4- The third line should have 6/3 pattern
Example:
Meet me in milieu…….6/3 milieu totally have 3 syllables out of the 6 syllables of the line
5- The fourth line goes 6/4 (to, pursue and through have 4 syllables and all rhymes); and the fifth like that …. Do like that
5- But the ending line of each stanza must end with X/X pattern. That means if the lines are 6 it must end with 6/6; if 10 with 10/10
Example: the example poem given under this rule has 6 lines in each stanza and seen ended by 6/6 pattern.
6- Rhyme metering stanzas are always mono rhymes.
7- This kind of poetry has two types; the one is inductive rhyme metering and the other is deductive rhyme metering. Inductive rhyme metering starts from X/1 pattern and ends at XX; but deductive rhyme metering starts from X/X pattern and ends with X/1 pattern. The example given poem with this rule is an Inductive rhyme metering poem because it ended with 6/6 (X/X) started from 6/1 ( X/1).
Plan ( Inductive Rhyme Metering Poetic Form)
What’s that I heard you say
all the dues will they pay?
Now, you can’t breakaway;
I’m sure they may misplay;
more delay anyway;
Someday someway repay.
Think more what you will do
Plan to take a new view
actions for breakthrough too;
we must pursue anew,
now look to true purview;
undo ensue outdo.

lonely, lonely musical tune.

almost touching dawn on the face,
where birds and phantasy takes flight
while hours and seconds continue their race.

Over the years, I have tried to fit in
by adopting everyone else’s style.
It was like writing someone else’s words.
I disappeared in between the lines.
I changed from who I had been.
I’ll never try so hard to fit in again.
It’s a lonely road sometimes going it alone,
but it’s better than being a carbon copy.
I knew there would be tough times ahead
by being the unique person that I am.
At first, it was odd standing up on my own,
but at least I finally found my backbone!

Joseph Spence Rhyme Scheme poetry
Joseph Spence Rhyme Scheme poetry is 16 line poetry mostly to convey spiritual messages, to praise God, and to tell the righteousness of Jesus Christ through verses. The style name is given for the Humanity service of Doctor, Professor, Ambassador Joseph Spence Sr. , a USA citizen and a former USA military Officer , for his valuable consideration of lifting up my morals. His words and motivational certificates taught me that not to give up unto my end of the mortal life by giving a hope of eternal joy with my dear Almighty Jesus Christ. Good men deserve good things; so I have only a treasury of name assignment so I give this style name to His Excellency Joseph Spence Sr.
Rules of Joseph Spence Sr. Style
— The poem has two septet and one couplet at the end
— The rhyme scheme of the septets are ABCADAD of the first Septet, and EFGEHEH of the second Septet
— The couplet rhyme is II
— Syllable not more than 14 per line
Keep Faith in the Lord and Yield (Joseph Spence Sr. poetry);
God and his wisdom aren’t written
And talks to any person relentlessly
His blessings are always here to stay
Inspires, Lord, like a lotus fountain
Due to him, I never let go of hope
Prayers to him, afterwards always brighten
Keeps me upright walking on a tightrope
Sometimes I think he’s just not there
Ready to sin, but then, I feel ashamed
For Jesus died for all those that sinned
Here to tempt me mountains of pleasure
Resisting evil is God’s ultimate test
Satan’s reshaping be he’s main feature
Luring me to sin his relentless quest
God provides me with a resistant shield
As long as I keep faith in him and yield

My Lady has Left (Maria Elena Vicente Poetry Style)
I stand here looking across the ocean
ponder the idea of my leaving
it may help my heart’s grieving
loved her and miss her so
she was a pleasure to know
now she’s gone, feel I must go
she was the joy of my life
had plans to make her my wife
now i must venture across the ocean
Loved the look in her eye
after I kissed her lips at night
she made everything feel right
seems like I lost my best friend
she left as quick as the wind
fear I shall never see her again
it’s sad that she has departed
left me standing, broken hearted
can’t get the tears out of my eye
At first, I had trouble believing
as I watched her fade out of sight
thinking of all the love i was giving
she was my eternal light

3- Main stanzas have 7 line each

And where joys are shown too much to be true
I can’t help but to cry all the tears left
Can’t help but to hurt all the pain unhurt
Feeling, a trend I hope to have started
The joyful can cry too, so joyfully
Just as the grieved can grieve in the gully
Fake cries now echo through my heart and smile
Braces not the faces of my figments
We opposed what we did not know, only
To forget what we once knew, in the end
Such emotions grow old after a while
Let us numb hearts, and calm our weary minds,
Let us feel not but the facts and the signs
My world is grey, indeed grey, either way,
It’s black in the night, and white in the day.

Leila-Aleme Rhyme Poetry
The Story of Leila-Aleme Rhyme Poetry
Leila-Aleme
Stanza poetry is invented while Aleme asked Leila to participate in his poetry contest of Abaya Stanza. At that moment Leila replied as she wasn’t familiar with styles with Rhymes but popular of Free verse and epic Poetry. Then we discussed for Rhyme building. After half an hour she wrote and sent the following poem
“So the fiery wind will howl one day,
over the pyramid of dead home leis
and a fiery celestial rain in a stream
and black flags will lick red like burning tongues,
the windows of the deathly pale houses will burn like mad berserkergangs
The moon’s green scream splashes in the silver threads
The all-devastating rhythm on the street will shout:
“Burn! Burn! Like a hundred-legged candlestick burning abominable May”
I observed all the structure of her poem and noticed that the style she wrote with was not known before as my experience. After doing few edits, the poem has given a style name called “ Leila-Aleme Poetry “.
And i sent a message to her again about the new style , Leila didn’t watch the messages during the break and that she just studied the genre, and that writing took her away but she wrote more stanzas.
Then she added the next two stanzas
“Confession of delight upon silver amour
and a metal spear thunders on the deepest wire
the underhand hellish lurking amongst
from the new splashed hellish wound lurking among
in a dirty spiral, with abstract bonfires
on the amour a confession of delight
in man is a beast, in ships a rich harbor
Only I end among you, flame to set the world on bam
the sooty chimney flag where the spark of September would blow,
rains, autumn rains and eternally wet tarpaulins
in a barn, Byron
the snail philosopher and mere fellow
flare, to set the world on fire, only I end among you
smoke and thunder and the rage of lambs”
She wanted only the style name to be called Leila Al Samarrai by the next statement.” I would like my name Leila Al Samarrai to be mentioned”. However, i opposed her decision by replying that the style name should be called ” Leila-Aleme Stanza” because we both were contributors. She wrote the poem and i knew that poem as it had a new rhyming scheme . Finally we reach at an agreement. I met this both a free verse and an epic poet who has been a member of https://allpoetry.com/Leila6 as a chance; she was a writer and translator of Serbian-Arab origin as i learnt about her finally from wikipedia.
Rule of Leila-Aleme Poetry
- Leila-Aleme Stanza or poem is a poetry style of an octave (eight lines) with a rhyme scheme of AABCCDBA rhyme with a range of syllable between 7 to 16 per line.

and make you pay
through the nose dearly
it shall not deter
when you remain stubborn and counter
the life’s move and prove
but one needs to perform bravely
keep feet firmly on the ground and stay

To Spend Eternity in a Moment (Silipika-Kalita Sonnet)
to spend eternity in a moment…
for a smile to creep on your honeyed lips
eyes locking on like heat seeking missiles
butterfly kisses flirt on fingertips
waiting for light to leave, the darkness crawls
star freckled sky teases no dismissals
culmination slowly obtained enthralls
fading away like mists impotent
vowing to love for the rest of our lives
passion did wane and no longer survives
memory whispers seeking atonement
to spend eternity in a moment

Love song (Venus stanza),
love is putting your needs before mine
sacrificing in all things, in every way
true partnership in everything we do
sharing in raising all the children too
you are always on my mind, and so fine
so much better than a glass of fine wine
when I wake only thinking of you divine

Hear the whisper of the wind time is near
Go grab your coat and hat out to the snow
Greet the chill air with matching crunch of feet
Wrath of trees shedding ice along the pathThere the old streetlights blink with not a care
Talk with each other on a nightly walk
Arm-in-arm he stops her to exude charm
You do know, my love is forever true He shows her the ring, bending to one knee
Smiling crystalline tears she sheds for miles
Life in this cold world, warmed beside a wife
One long journey together has begun

Fragrance Yields,Me and Martha Style
Ron Wiseman,Australia
If you became, by growth, a lovely rose,
For, wondrously, your inner beauty grows.
I vouch that glories trailed from Heaven pure;
Your presence is a garden of delight
Though humbler than white lilies in green fields
Where lesser souls relax; your days play through
With blush of pink upon your petals rare:
Thus, ever, for your loved one’s gentle care.
This is your faith, your gardener, your earth;
All life should own this miracle of birth.
As friends shine splendidly, forever true,
So roses, each, their fragrant essence yields.

In greatest anticipation I await Spring
the most beautiful blossoms a season can bring
I can’t wait to see pink and white Magnolia trees
bright yellow daffodils dancing in softest breeze
and perfumed Honeysuckle trailing wire trellis
with blue birds singing their sweet songs, I await Spring.
–
On lakeside path skittering squirrels reappear
their comical behavior never fails to cheer
duck families swim together quacking loudly
as a bright turquois peacock struts about proudly
I hear the cacophonies of honking flying geese
rippling lake glistens in full sun on lakeside path.
–
In this heavenly area I feel quite blessed
and to be living here I never would have guessed.
Poet PK ROY, India
Tell me, how long I will wait for you, what to do?
losing patience I’m waiting for you all day through;
I’ve no energy left still forcefully wait;
rapidly walk throughout room, I’m trying to think straight;
Whenever I am hearing any sound of feet
rushing to look on street, should I wait more, tell me;
Just can’t sit, quietly without thought on my seat;
You know well I am eagerly waiting to meet.
Time to return to sweet home, waited all day long
to greet; I would not judge, if I was right or wrong;
Sinking into frustration, sometime can’t control,
loneliness kills; yes, feeling to cry, just can’t sit
Whole day thought about us, what’s said in wedding vow;
I trusted you all along, can’t you trust me now?

3A+B
3A+B (The derivative of Shakespeare rhyme) is a poetry style which have the following rules
1- The name 3A+B is derived from the rhyme scheme ; i.e. 2 internal A rhyme of strophes plus 1 External B rhyme of the line is equals to 3A ; concluded with one B external rhyme to build a verse. The single verse you can make is a blank verse. Two blank verse is the building block of 3A+B stanza. One blank verse could never be a 3A+B poem.
Look at in the next example:
She seems sad, and mad
He did on her bad, cruel
(Sad and bad are 2 internal rhymes i.e. 2A+mad is an external rhyme; therefore it becomes 3A;
Cruel is External B rhyme. In sum we made 3A+B rhyme of a simple blank verse of
“She seems sad and mad
He did on her bad, cruel”
However, this blank verse alone is not a 3A+B verse. To do the simplest 3A+B verse you need to repeat another blank verse with 3A+B rhyme
“I need to make her glad, at least for fad
Something to add, by duel”
Then you can be said that you made the simplest stanza of 3A+B style.
“She seems sad and mad
He did on her bad, cruel
I need to make her glad, at least for fad
Something to add, by duel”
Then you see the rhyming to become ABAB or simply the derivative of Shakespeare rhyme!!!!
2- Your stanza line limits are open; i.e. you can put one, two, three, four, or more lines in your stanzas.
3- Syllable should be not exceeded above 10 in each strophe and 20 in each line.
The daemon of Nile [3A+B stanza] Poem
She seems sad, and mad
He did on her bad, cruel
I need to make her glad, at least for fad
Something to add, by duel
I wish to let him down, in the town
Snatching his crown, with fight
Dressing to my own, the kings’ gown
He will be thrown, she gonna be alright
I will see your smile, with guile
He will become exile, and then won’t insist
Will fly long miles, closing his files
Never to return back for a while, that beast
The daemon of Nile, was in hostile
With his beguile, it was very evil and the worst
Let’s Drink ,3A+B Stanza Poem
A perfect baited, beautiful hook, — a cold Silver Bullet is what I took. — At you I failed to take a close look, — into those roasted Amber Bock eyes.
Gazing around my little nook, — you’re glancing at a Mixology book. — Sweet beer garden of bubbly brook!, -a Blue Mountain Beauty as my surprise.
On the bar an unusual pool. — Sweat rings from cold cans turning to cool, — mixed with all of the “old timer’s” drool. — Eyeing this woman and the drinks she serves.
The jukebox plays Elvis “Don’t Be Cruel”. — I’m in the mood to crank out some TOOL. — With my feet perched up on a bar stool, — my bartender does have some very fine curves!
My sorrow I’d like to sink, — in an ice cold beer or a nice stiff drink. — Talk with friends or just sit and think. — I could get wound up, or ‘wined’ down and chill.
Right now I’m just at the brink, — leave a good tip and shoot her a wink. — Pray to God I don’t get thrown in the ‘Clink’, — leaving my favorite Bar and Grill.

Winter Forest (Ethiostanza),Cassie Hughes, USA
With winters silent shroud the forest waits
for formless foggy breath to evanesce,
The rime garbed boscage smothers vocal states,
All creatures hold suspended livelihood,
Enchanted drifters wander vacant, lost
through timeless tunnels wrought in icy shades.
Monochromatic world of sparkling frost,
So breathtaking yet brings with it a cost.

Conceit is one literary tool of poetry that elaborate and fanciful a metaphor or an analogy; in which two vastly different objects or materials or any things are related literally; eventually connecting both different things beautifully is the aim of conceit in literary poetry writing.
Conceitstanza is a seven line stanza poetry and the 12th poetry style invention of Alemseged Sisay. The name is derived from two words, conceit plus stanza, to sum up the conceit in one poetic style with strict rules.
Rules of ConceitStanza:
1- The poet should ponder first what to relate two far-fetched or dissimilar objects, materials, or anything before he/she gashes to starts verse making; example on the line “Human love is like a capital’s treasury” has two dissimilar phrases i.e Human love and A capital’s treasury.
2- The first line:
These two far-fetched objects which are become ready to be related should be written on the first line;
3- The 2nd,3rd,4th ,5th and 6th lines are then to be followed to elaborate and create imagery that leads for connection of the two compared objects in the metaphor of the 1st line;
4- The 7th line is a summing up last line of the stanza by linking the anaphora from the 1st line’s first strophe with ending new strophe
5- The rhyming scheme of ConceitStanza is AABCBBA
6- Metering 7–15 per line.

My quiet pond is like a city building site,
Though one is rural, the other in hard city light.
One swarms with creatures at night, the other people by day,
One the trickle of peace, the other the roar of machines.
By one, I can be happy till I’m grey
But by the other anguished — I cannot stay.
My quiet pond is far from walls of white.

Beauty (Aleme Stanza),RandyG,Missouri, United States
Beauty, indeed is in the eye of the beholder
even in something as simple as a bare shoulder
but there are no rules, it’s just a matter of taste
as variable as a persons point of view
quite often formed early by cultural influence
displayed in galleries where it’s securely encased
beauty, an enduring aspiration of mankind
and seems to overwhelm the average mind
pursued by the masses and captured by very few

Classical Music (Hypo-Test Stanza), Nancy daisygirl, From Tennessee
Cantabile sonatas are most lovely
Is there a more refined composition?
baroque, romantic — scores inscrutable
Beethoven, Bach — musicians notable
sections segue in seamless transitions
orchestral measures provide harmony
no other form invokes such emotion
discordant notes are transformed thoughtfully
rock and hip-hop may incite some motion
but classical fosters rich devotion

Yuletide Then and Now {Alemseged’s Alphabetical}, Poet RickeysRhymes, Ohio, United States
Two millennia past Angel carols
filled the airways from mountain top to vale
for kings and paupers, east, west, north and south:
God has become flesh and flesh became God
cross vast desert dunes, thru dense leaf jungles,
this Yuletide was heralded with jingles.
Mary, a young virgin Jewish girl bore
baby Jesus on that first Christmas morn
observed on twenty-fifth of December
Immanuel: Hebrew name, “God with us.”
just as the prophets of olden times swore
all people of the globe come and adore.
While Mary’s lamb was just a tot of three
Wisemen from the Far East sought for the king
following yonder star til it alit
above the child like a diamond halo
outranking empowers from sea to sea
’twas first century’s coup de grâce decree.
Costly gifts lavished not to buy but praise:
gold claims royalty for Mary’s first child;
frankincense declares Trinity’s person;
myrrh sees the decaying flesh of his corpse.
Apt accolades so mother Mary prays
as her glowing eyes sets her heart ablaze.
Time warp to today, pith’s taken hostage:
central person is now the Santa Claus.
The Christmas holiday is now Xmas.
Our gifts take center stage and not the child.
Rather than we paying the Son homage
we choose an ego centric heritage.
Toss nativity: place an Xmas tree
laced with bauble, blinking lights and tinsel;
adorned fireplaces with stuffed red stockings;
feast on gingerbread, plum pudding, eggnog.
Hang wreaths, mistletoes, garlands, and holly.
Set out the poinsettia then take a knee.
Go to Noel’s manger not the North Pole.
Pick up the Bible not the nutcracker.
Receive the best gift not a lump of coal.
Don’t be Scrooge or Grinch; they’re a hijacker.
A Child Lost (Gammo Kamba Poem Style), Poet ValerieAnn, NewYork
Little child his mother’s dear
never lived a long full year
nightmare does not ever end
Silence grows in deafest ears
wiping off the salty tears
crying can’t begin to mend
Standing straight against a wall
father begs to end it all
living life is hard to tend
Jointly learn to make the shift
making love the one true gift
starting back to live they wend
Gazing out the window bright
praying in the darkest night
keenest grief to heaven send
The guiding light ( Alemseged’s symple),Varsha Madhulika,India
When life becomes tough
We all choose to turn our back
Hide and feel safe in our cave
For that is the best choice we could make
But, the truth is We forgot to laugh
At it and say we are more than enough
’cause where there’s will there is a way to surf
A hope to conquer it with all my efforts
For an untried world is unintended move
Governing our destiny like a UFO
And we submit to it with bonded handcuff
Believing there is no more hopeful stuff.
Mind it my boys this is the time to puff
Remember your true guts
Bash with all your wise wisdom
Until you discover your very page
That carries you off to destination tough
With a spirit of determination that’s enough.

The tempo of my beating heart vanish’ [Addis Sonnet], Csontos Imola Anna, from Hungary
The tempo of my beating heart vanish’ —
I rip open my ribcage to nourish
The vast vultures of solemn solitude —
I accommodate hungry pneumas
Who — after they eat — wish me to banish.
Vicious beliefs corner my mortal coil —
Deprive me of all — leave me destitute —
Allow me to keep the uncanny scars.
Charming words without venturesome actions,
Hoary mistakes within new directions —
Aren’t you coming? I am waiting for you!
Guide me — I don’t know what else I should do.

Night, Poetess Alice Persad, Gammo Haneka Style,
from Trinidad and Tobago
Night fell like black ink spilled,
The trees trembled tall and chilled.
No sound but the ring of silence.
Now and then a fire fly flickered,
And a few stray dogs bickered.
A story of the nights magnificence.
Serenity of the silence penetrates,
Repetitive Prayers levitates.
Lonely hearts soaked in tears.
Some fade into dream paradise,
Others to hell left paralyzes.
Some awake reliving the days fears.
A night of pleasures and pain interrupted,
As the sun soaks into the darkness disrupted.
Ready for the new day; dawn begins.

Stephen E. Washam, Alemseged Double-Edged Rhyme Style
Oklahoma, United States
Night begins as day turns into twilight
And ebony curtains will cloak the land
Calling out to dreamers when it’s falling
Rest is time for starting their vision quest
All those who await the end of day call
Find peaceful slumber for their weary mind
Sleep comes inside of the darkness so deep
To bring a dreaming portrait into view
Keeping watch over all who are sleeping
Arms of the night will keep them from all harms
Light of morning brings an end to the night
On sunlit wings the sweet dreams are now gone
Tranquil thoughts of dreams their minds must fulfill
Until the night returns so soft and still

White Crow and the Dead Mulberry Tree,
TagQuestStanza Style
by Poet Arash Zohhadi, from Netherlands
A dead mulberry tree is resting in my yard
enclosed by marauding weeds with no heart
yet it seems so more in life than it ever was, playing its part
isn’t it, a dead mulberry tree?
As a white crow could have chosen any tree to nest
she chose the snag mulberry tree reason being she loves bare
which is also facing an old white pine looking fair
couldn’t she, a white crow?
The crafty white crow keeps scaring off all the dusky crows like crazy
craving to rob a weaver’s nest hanging on top of the old whine pine looking silly
shadowing over the dead mulberry tree to some degree
doesn’t she, the crafty white crow?
A half blind lady owl dwells in a wise oak
can’t see the white crow swooping, though dreams going rogue
comes out of her hole inspecting, as the scared black crows don’t feed her anymore
doesn’t she, a half blind lady owl?
Hasty grapevines bursting with ripe blue grapes, are crawling on my walls
that the grapes hold the remedy for owl’s eye troubles is not false
walls are now all blue but they once used to be black brick walls
aren’t they, hasty grape vines?
The sad owl now wishes she was somewhere else, feeling blue
despises that damn dead mulberry tree so true
no more empathy now that she’s hungry
doesn’t she, the sad owl?
One day a young brave black crow flies to the oak tree
wants to help knowing the owl can’t see
keeps flying in to her hole drops her blue grapes with pace
doesn’t he, a young brave black crow?
The happy owl can finally see straight after eating grapes for some weeks
plans to kill the white crow next time she peeks
endorses again the dead mulberry tree now it’s once more free
can’t she, the happy owl?
Can you please sing me some new metaphors?
Style Gammo Sonnet
By Jaya Chaudhary, India
Rocking armchairs, swings late every nights
Leftovers and liquors play chaotic fights
Elegantly my wrinkles laugh at self
Telling the mauve ancient covers
To hold on, the doodles scribbling lovers
’cause giant track slay and I lie as mere elf
My autographs go back to signatures
My poetries feel less, dumb caricatures
A petrichor then, now a bygone smell
So I keep things and alchohol at bay,
Trying to smile a little each day
Painting new poems upon broken sea shells
Replying to queries that hit deep ashore
“Can you please sing me some new metaphors?”
A Fuselian Visitation, Gammo Haneka Poem by Subhra Sanpui, India
Numbness crawls up the senses
Pulling a hazy curtain to encase
The tidal frustration reeling down the memory lane.
Cut myself off from the hustling, jostling crowd,
Sailing the eve’s winding streets aloud,
Like ships, in a humid bottle, storm tossed in vain.
Cut the “Self” off, taken a step back
From a mould — monotonous white and black,
The designed desired “Me” guised in grey and plain.
Life’s baby steps, failing to mount the rungs
In their own skin under proud tongues,
Enacted the great drama, ornate in chains.
Garmented Shakespearean Miranda singing away the Act I blissfully,
While gliding away the concluding soliloquy
With Lear’s last sighs as the moon wanes.
Brushing over the waltz,
Counting strangers’ rhythm over 28k hertz,
Skipped stations, and submarine to soul’s dominion.
Yet hours of solitude along the eve’s length,
Knells for a train trip to the depths,
And a room for evaluation ‘tween TV and the “Self’s” strain.
The Clock cutting the space slice by slice
Once, twice, then thrice,
Leaving no second for “Vacuum” to feign.
Lulled cognition –
A Lunatic rebellion –
A paralysing awakening now the dormant shell reign.
Bhumika Shekhawat from India
I may unconsciously sink
Or may bring so much to drink
But I’ll never choose you to date
I’m the one, the most cute
And you? A ripened fruit
The word pops up is just “hate”
You don’t belongs to any link
You just shrink and shrink
And I have a lot more to create
You insist me to be with you
Like the cap with bottle or some glue
But sorry, I don’t want to debate
Well, I have a brownish suit
And in it, you’ll surely look so cute
So, we have so much left to be made
Let me tell you the reason
Behind change in behavior like season
I wanted to see you in this shade
I just wanted you to wear it and try
But unfortunately you were too much shy
Forgive me now or leave me to regret
By Vikram Ballgobin from Mauritius
The melting temperature of winter
Follows Spring taking away the eerie and the sinister
After a few struggle, a plant rises
Followed by a bud yawning at the coming Sun
Opening its petals, slow motionly, charming little bun
No more quiet, dull funeral moan
The atmosphere is filled with chirpings windblown
For their habitants have magically regrown
Metamorphosis, every species soliloquises
In celebrations, for spring heals nature’s bruises
Come Autumn we all shout, Hooray!
Jon the Von from California
gone are the days of summer’s cruel swelter
soon no need to seek cool-covered shelter
’tis now the season of jeweled colored splendor
the warmth of apple cider, cinnamon, an’ a pumpkin patch
wool coats with muffs, mittens with scarfs to match
hot from the ovens are mom’s persimmon cakes
chats ‘round open fires, begging mom for more bakes
parties dressed in garlands, orange and black on our mates
Halloween on the thirtieth, costumes like scary ghosts
It’s all in fun, ya know, as we thank our generous hosts

Your entire body is,
Flawless and nit,
Nothing error I count.
A woman appearance,
Filled with zest,
Attractive and sweet.
Kissing her strawberry lips,
Grasping her waist,
Together to delight.
Dancing with love music,
Ere you flirt,
Then become silent.
Ding dong, ding dong of hearts,
Singing a song,
Hear the sense, rhyming.
There is an agreement,
In this moment,
When hearts are snogging.

MathLab-Stanza
It has thought that poetry’s aims are many beyond revealing the poet’s inner sense and though out of their knowledge and experience. Further from the above motivations, poetry is a means of transferring relevant knowledge to readers and method of seeking joy with searching for intelligence and thinking ability.
Mathlab stanza is a better poetic mechanism of making readers to be researchers by providing some variables in imagery words and strophes further to let them find some scalar or vector quantity at the end line of each stanza. This style of poetry can help students to be entertained by making verses after their learning and studying classes that could help them the formula, theorem …etc; to remain lingered in their mind.
Rules of Mathlab Stanza Poetry
1) Each stanza has 7 lines
2) The poet or poetess should start his verse making with imagery words which would help to relate life, nature, beauty, truth,….or anything or body of knowledge with words those can help to create variables; Variables in this style are any scalar or vector quantities. For Example: variables in the next stanza are power ,energy, area ( we have counted three variables but we can have more than or lower than these) ;
The strength of our marriage
Has maintained the departure’s bridge
Labeled our power of faith
Boosted our energy of trust
Gutted hate out of our area of heart
Made both she and I jubilantly to indulge
This is intensity, the strength between us in depth
3) The sum, multiplication, division, subtraction or the combination of these in a known formula or newly created formula of the poet should give the resultant scalar or vector quantity at the end of each stanza generally as the imagination of the poet.
For example the imagination of the poet in this poem 1st stanza’s ending line was the vector quantity “Intensity”. All the variables (Power, energy, and area) would give the intensity as he pondered from his prior knowledge of physics; because he knew that Intensity =power over area.
4- Rhyme scheme is AABCDAB
5- The 6th line of each stanza begins with the result which has imagined as the measurable quantity ( This is Intensity , in the above poem) followed after demonstrative pronoun + part of the verb to be (Is, was, were…) … plus the beginning Subject or noun of the 1st line as a Refrain or anaphora plus the final strophe of the stanza.
This is intensity, the strength between us in depth
This (Demonstrative pronoun) + is (verb to be) +Intensity (the resultant quantity) +the strength (the noun/subject of line 1) + between us in depth (the final strophe of the stanza)
6- Metering below 15 syllables per line is better but not mandatory

Few things in nature are more spectacular than trees
celebrated by applause of leaves rustling in the breeze
standing tall, monumental living towers
dwarfing the surrounding flora and fauna
easily commanding the lions share of praise
bringing human admiration humbly to it’s knees
with a royal persona and stature that reveals it’s power
Another wondrous phenomenon is that of flowing water
where families fish and play, mirroring the river otters
wet and cooling to quench our thirst
meandering through different landscapes
with a supernatural aura drawing our attention
passing along it’s fascination to sons and daughters
from waterfalls to rushing rivers their majesties diverse

4- No stanza limit
The lights that shone in my home town shine still,
I have no doubt at all they always will,
But those lights of my home town are lost to me,
For nevermore will I return
To that quiet town where I was born,
The old house, the children’s park, I will not see,
The lights that shone, shine in my mind,
They light the life I left behind,
That past imperfect, for whose comfort I now yearn

He waits [Abaya Stanza]
With cold and wanting eyes, he waits
as February sets her teeth in deep
While tiny little things lay low
the bird bides intent on the snow
watching as the chilled world sleeps
He waits, with cold and wanting eyes
For the hare to seal its fate
I stop, unsure if he will spring to flight
Eagles trust a man to do much harm
With eyes, darker than the earth’s pressed coal
set deep in visions only raptors know
The frame set upon a shaking arm
Unsure if he will spring to flight, I stop
One shot, set against the low sun’s light
Robin of Sherwood ~ {Abaya Stanza}
Robin Hood, the prince of thieves
His love of Marian kept him strong
Robs from rich and gives to needy
Strength and honor never greedy
To peasants eyes he does no wrong
The prince of thieves, Robin Hood
Ruling Sherwood’s dark broad leaves
Lady Marian, the noble maid
Her love for Robin kept her pure
Gisborne’s eyes forever beady
Evil sheriff sly and seedy
Their constant lust she must endure
The noble maid, Lady Marian
Trapped with knaves she must evade

A Bewilderment in Love (Hypo-test Stanza)
Poet PinkY Promise ( Pen Name) from United Kingdom
The reason of love should be my dam wealth
Do you really love me if I were poor?
Joe said we can’t judge our true happiness
by money or fame making loneliness
Can you really save me from the trapdoor?
Not by the gold and silver, just by warmth
I decided to dive in your pure eyes
’cause you sent me your very first love poem
The poem can’t lie me, I can see your truth
Adieu to my twisted heart behemoth
