Contest Description

"Is your husband English?" was the question we all put to the French secretary living in London.  "No, he is Welsh," she answered, guessing we would mark the difference.  What does Wales mean to you (either by knowing of your Welsh ancestry, living in Wales, seeing videos or going there on holiday)?  Failing all of those, please read the Wikipedia article on Wales and choose a theme concerning that country.

Start the poem "Wales to me is ..." , and bring to it plenty of fresh ideas but don't make these ideas too specific.  The poem should be *very dreamy* in its expression and only those that ARE will be placed.

If you'd like an idea of what I am looking for, see my poem called "Wales to Me" dated 6/2/20.

Let the lyrics flow!
