Contest Description
-What to Submit?
Write me a fun poem on the theme of TRYING SOMETHING NEW.
Your poem should:
- Be no more than twenty lines
- Have rhyme and metre (I’m not a syllable counter, but I like to feel a satisfying pattern of stressed and unstressed syllables in a rhyming poem)
- Have at least THREE fabulous boundary-pushing rhymes, for example philately rhyming with battery, or elephants rhyming with smelly pants. I love these so indulge me!
- Have the date written at the bottom
- Be titled “Something New” so I don’t read it by accident.
I’ve gone premier this time, so give me your best!
