Contest Description

What to Submit?

1 original, poem on the theme of

To which image should we cling

Line of inquiry:

We have been here a thousand times before

Memory erased, each time we begin anew

Of hands held tenderly, we’ve lost the score

Each embrace virgin like fresh morning dew

To which image, oh dear soul, should we cling

For each heart was at some point of time dear

As we flow through life with zest, zeal and zing

In all forms we see God’s presence appear

Disclaimer: My contests are about addressing the line of inquiry primarily. Of course, poetry comes into play too provided the inquiry is investigated in earnest. I apologise in advance if it appears to anyone that less eloquent poems place higher than artistically crafted ones.

New poems only, minimum 10 lines, any form. The contest title is your poem title. Dive in deep! Enjoy!

Any form is acceptable.
