Contest Description
Hello again all!
Who wants to offer some very wise words?
For this contest you are to write a new poem which must be inspired by and include any or all of the following quotes...
"Fall seven times and stand up eight" ~ old proverb "If the wind will not serve, take the oars" ~ Latin Proverb
"Life is 10 percent what happens to me and 90 percent of how I react to it." ~ Charles Swindoll
"Nothing is impossible, the word itself says, "I'm possible!" " ~ Audrey Hepburn
"You can never cross the ocean until you have the courage to lose sight of the shore." ~ Christopher Columbus
Tell us how your chosen statement/s inspire you and share this encouragement in your poem.
Create a new inspirational phrase of your own to use in your final verse. This closing verse is your contribution to the inspiration you want to share.
Title your poem Inspirational Quotes. This is because there will be at least two in your poem. The one/s you have chosen AND the one you have created.
As with my previous contest, my aim is to place every entry. Whether or not you chose to put contest name and sponsor will not factor into my choice to accept or reject the entry.
Put your chosen quotes at the top of your poem. Include the quotes somewhere in your poem using speechmarks "quote" or bold quote
