Wise words to live by

Do you ever wonder how someone long ago
could have come up with a phrase that could
indeed change lives? Because they faced adversity
and kept moving!

Fall seven times and stand up eight" ~ old proverb
That's it, keep getting up after being knocked down
Over and over, if that's what it takes. Just keep proving!

"If the wind will not serve, take the oars" ~ Latin Proverb
I have counted on something that didn't work, and you just
figure it out. Indeed, change paths, do something different,
just keep removing!

"Life is 10 percent what happens to me and 90 percent of how I react to it." ~ Charles Swindoll
This is the truth! I have faced one of the most horrible things that life could
throw at you, and I didn't want to at first, but I kept putting one
foot in front of the other, just keep self-moving!

"Nothing is impossible, the word itself says, "I'm possible!" " ~ Audrey Hepburn
Each person is different, and looks at things differently, but I LOVE that she saw
hope in a discouraging word. Encourage others, be the hope that other people see,
just keep approving!

"You can never cross the ocean until you have the courage to lose sight of the shore." ~ Christopher Columbus. Absolutely true! Get out of your comfort zone and do something
that makes you uncomfortable and you may see something amazing
that wasn't even within your parameters, just keep disproving!

Hi Kathleen ✨️ I like the way you have taken the several phrases to offer inspiration on a personal level. Your message carries through your poem, in the face of adversity, keep moving. And the honest acknowledgement that its not something we always feel like doing. "Just keep disproving" is an excellent ending phrase... keep disproving the doubts. ☺️ Thank you for entering the contest.
