You can never cross the ocean until you, 
have the courage to lose sight of the shore;
well, this quote inspires me to go into the blue,
be it the ocean or meadow- just open the door.
to take a risk and leave my comfort zone,
face the unknown with courage . . .  alone;
there will be danger when I set forth,
but, will crawl if needed to find my true north.

You're not strong enough the Devil said,
to withstand life's storms, and I yelled back
to him, thanks to God, I am the storm, 
and that should have filled me with dread,
and may at times in my seeking seem a maniac.
Oh, will bleed my poetic words to transform,
I will take every opportunity to pour words;
and set them free on the wings of birds.
