What to Submit?
1. One new limerick, funny, bawdy or humorous. Please try to keep them PG-13.
2. Exact syllable counts on lines 1, 2 & 5 and rhymes ( not to exceed 10 syllables).
3. Exact syllable counts on lines 3 & 4 and rhymes ( not to exceed 7 syllables). Please use howmanysyllables or PS syllable counter.
4. Please follow how to write a limerick, see below.
Limerick poems should have five lines with the rhythm AABBA, which is a pattern that determines the lines of the rhyme. A given letter of the alphabet represents the rhyming sound, the rhyme scheme begins with the letter A and uses a new letter for each ending sound. The form AABA indicates that the first and second and the fifth line should rhyme with each other. The third and the fourth line, on the other hand, form another pair of a rhyme scheme.

Prizes
There will be multiple placements. Poems written before 8/29/26 will not be considered for placement.
You may add pics, illustrations but remember, I cannot seem them when judging. No AI or plagiarism.
Preparing Your Entry
Submit one copy of your poem online. Format your poem. Please make your entry easy to read — no illustrations or fancy fonts.
English Language
Poems should be in English. Poems translated from other languages are not eligible, unless you wrote both the original poem and the translation.

You are welcome to enter this contest, whether or not you won a prize in one of my previous contests.
