What to Submit?

1 original, poem on any theme using one of the following stanzas.
Forms: Rhyme, Free Verse, Pantoum, Terzanelle,  16-24 Lines

1. "Roses rooted in the earth

   Bud in rhyme and verses sage

    Lilies know a ghostly birth

    Strewn across the patterned page"..

 

2. "The summer night is still and sweet

    With flowers on every tree

  Peace comes to them on quiet feet"..

 

3. "Share the hopes within you still

   And hold the dreams that in you reside

  Invite a kiss from parted lips

  And trace the paths where hearts abide"..

 

4. "But if you remember, then turn away forever

   To the prairies and the plains where pools are far apart

  Then you will not come at dusk on closing water lilies

 And the shadow of mountains will not fall on your heart"..

 

5. "The sky prepares the sun for night

     Where drifting clouds are slowly steeping

     In tepid pools of waning light"

. Your chosen stanza must be in bold and quotation marks, if you cannot do bold,  then  the First words  of each line of your chosen stanza must be in Capital Letters,  AND put the stanza in quotatin marks

. Any stanza above can be used for any of the forms listed above
