What to Submit?
1 original, poem on the theme of Ancestral roots. Tell me about your search for your roots, or interesting facts about your roots, your ancestors who were they, how did they live, any famous ancestors. How did learning about your roots change your life?
Any form is acceptable. Minimum 10 lines, maximum 40 lines, rhyming or free verse, embellishment of the facts for poetic license allowed for interest sakes(as some family history is rather bland) use your imagination if need be, but make it real!

Submit one copy of your poem online. Format your poem. Please make your entry easy to read — no illustrations or fancy fonts.
English Language
Poems should be in English. Poems translated from other languages are not eligible, unless you wrote both the original poem and the translation.
