What to Submit?
1 brand new, original poem on the theme of: FATHERS DAY.
Write an ACROSTIC poem with the letters F A T H E R S D A Y reading down the left side of the page. The first letter of each line must be CAPITALIZED IN BOLD TYPE. Please, no pictures, illustrations, fancy fonts, centering, italics, or bold type except as mentioned above.
Please date your poem May 9, 2021 or after and show the contest title and sponsor's name at the bottom of the poem you submit.
NOTE: This is an easy contest, so no exceptions will be made to the above-stated requirements. Any grammatical, punctuation, or spelling mistakes will not be awarded a placement. You may write about your own father or fathers in general, but preference will be given to those acrostics written about the poet's (your) father. KEEP IN MIND THAT SOMEONE'S POEM WILL BE AWARDED A TROPHY, SO GIVE ME YOUR BEST EFFORTS!
I WILL BE EVALUATING THE POEMS BLIND, SO DO NOT EXPECT TO HEAR FROM ME REGARDING THE CONTEST UNTIL THE CONTEST IS COMPLETED. THANKS, IN ADVANCE, TO ALL WHO SUBMIT.

Poems should be in English. Poems translated from other languages are not eligible, unless you wrote both the original poem and the translation.
