Singing

June 7 Med...
To self: Today, be mindful of Singing.

It's hard to hate, to feel blue, be depressed, or to project anger... When you're singing.
My friend Dalton Rushing of Decatur, Georgia reminds me to go ahead and sing out while you drive around; just don't take your eyes off the road. And buckle up!
So, while you're working, playing, hobbying, and of course in the shower, by all means sing out. I'm confident you will feel better about yourself, your peeps and your situation.
Spread a little joy – off key or on. It might get returned to you ten-fold. God knows.

Limerick on Singing
by D. A. Brooks

There once was a preacher
   named Rushing
Whose singing might not be
   called crushing.
But his message is clear, so with
   joy and great cheer,
He sings out! With not so much
   as a blushing!

"Singing is a way of releasing an emotion that you sometimes can't portray when you're acting. And music moves your soul, so music is the source of the most intense emotions you can feel."
      - Amanda Seyfried

"There's no half-singing in the shower, you're either a rock star or an opera diva."
      - Josh Groban

Ephesians 5:19...
Addressing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody to the Lord with your heart,
