Helpers

June 13 Med...
To self: Today, be mindful of Helpers.
I hope my sons remember as children listening to Mr Rogers say, "when afraid, look for the helpers," and that they pass those words along to their children. By "helpers" I'm sure he meant parents, other responsible adults, police and trusted friends...good, helpful people and events that make us feel comforted. Protected.
As adults sometimes we need to look for the helpers too. There are helpers all around. Your spouse, children, Doctors, PTs, psychiatrists, and many others who are ready and willing to help.
Beyond that, maybe I need to look for ways I can be a helper too. Everyone needs a little help now and then. God knows.
