Carol Eastman

I sit at my window with my cats and dogs, where I feed my birds daily... Each day my Hubby Mike gives me tid bits from his imagination... before he heads off to work... I try to write for the fun and enjoyment of all... My poems never fit exactly into any contests... Fun story poems have a place here along with children's poetry. I'll be trying to promote them in the future by contests and my poetry.

I just clicked on the wrong spot and congratulated several people I follow for being featured... Never realizing I had hit 'Poems of Poets I Follow'... Yes I'm a ditz... And apparently having an out of mind experience... Sorry my friends... But I dearly loved your poems I read... LOL... I do tend to get a little confused from time to time... Sorry if I was so crazy while doing so... Usually it's with entering contests that my miind goes AWOL... Oh well... Just want you to all know that my life is blessed by your friendship and kindness...

From your friends... Carol, Hubby, and the Menagerie (PS. Hubby usually stops me before I totally mess up... And fortunately he just shakes his head and helps me out. But he had to leave for work)... Now my secret is out. At this point... perhaps I should let you know that I do strange things from time to time... and say strange things occassionally too.... Just enjoy my attention and scratch your head when necessary.

Also... Don't worry... I won't finish my contest today... No telling what I would end up... messing up! And yes... My problem is partially why I never make more intense contests... But I also dearly love to show case your work... The way I do.

CArol, I am so spacey, I am not even sure what you are exactly talking about. hahaha. Lots of things here to get mixed up about. Don't sweat it, lovely lady!

Happens to us all Carol:-) As for your contests I LOVE them - you inspire us to be creative that is the main thing - we know you judge lightly - the most important thing is we are writing and your contests are a way to showcase our poems once they have dropped off the new poems list :-) Never be persuaded to change the way you do contests :-) hugs Jan xx

I tend to have down to a science at times... But just in case... I'll work on my contest tomorrow and put it aside today... Thank you for understanding... I had been looking for a rock to climb under... when I decided to own it... Afterall, it is a part of me and always has been... Sigh
