New Contest: Moment of Truth

What to Submit?

1 original, poem/story on the theme of ............. a life-changing moment. Maybe you met someone who had an impact on your life, or experienced something physical that changed your life forever, or you made an observation that altered your perspective... The possibilities are limitless! This can be fiction or it can be based on real life events - whatever you like.

The only acceptable forms are PROSE or NARRATIVE - with a maximum of 300 words (that's roughly half a page of text in a Word doc). I'm looking for a story that pulls the reader right into it and doesn't let them go until the very last word - a special glimpse into your thoughts or the thoughts of your character.

Hahaha Isaiah, that comment was directed at the (female) poets who commented below. Of course I would also love to see some prose from the gentlemen of the Soup! :)

The deadline isn't until July 31st, so you've got plenty of time if you'd like to enter ;) I would LOVE to see some prose from you ladies!
