What a tough contest to judge, so many beautiful poems! Congratulations to all the winners and a great big THANK YOU to all the awesome poets who entered the contest! I liked very much what all of you produced with this form. I think because the first and last lines are the same it redoubles reader's focus on the enclosed thoughts. I'll have to hold another one in the future!

Thank you so very much for my placement, Dale, I greatly appreciate it! I know I took a chance by considering the Universe as "nature", but to me, it is certainly that and more ... thank you for accepting it thus. I blame myself for not remembering to "lose" the italics, lol. Blessings!

I'm also grateful to be on the list, Dale as there were some great entries. I agree that the novel repetition of the first line to conclude the poem added reinforcement to the theme and rounded the sonnet off nicely.
