Howdy ya'll!

Lets get right to it!

On Sunday, December 8th @8am PST, the USA & Canada will join as one with my special guest co-host, RICHARD LAMOUREUX from British Columbia, Canada on "Stand As 1" on Blog Talk Radio!

Richard continues to leave his mark on the Soup and is a man amongst men! His heart & humor are potent & inspiring amongst all who read his work. This is an exciting opportunity for us all and I'm very hyped for this show!

That said, this is also YOUR time to shine. "Stand As 1" is an Open Mic internet radio show with the sole focus of providing all poets across the world a voice to be heard. So, DON'T BE SHY!

The fun all goes down at 8am PST/11am EST/4pm London Time/11pm in the Philippines!
So, join us!!! Do it for humanity, eh?!

Wanna listen and read your work on the show? Read below...
To listen to the show & read your work, you have a few options:

Web: http://www.blogtalkradio.com/standas1 (There is a chat room where you can talk with myself and others in the chat, but you'll have to register on the site to do so. Otherwise, you'll just appear as "Guest12345" in the chat room with no ability to communicate with others).

Phone: (646) 716-4762 (You can hear the show live over the phone. If you want to actually read a poem on the air, then please be sure to press "1" and the voice prompt will confirm that you're in my Host queue to read a poem.)

Please keep in mind that all callers that want to read on my show are selected in the order they call in and who presses "1" to be placed in my queue.

P.S......I also love Richard's comment on your show.......that if we are going to put our work out there......we have to expect, and handle criticism with class! We must learn to take the risk.

I love this discussion, ....the fact that you mentioned about Poetry Soup is such a massive group of people, and yet, it often feels like this small community of friendly people who happen to drop by, the ones who we recognize as our friends, it feels so much smaller than it really is. I often forget, put out of my mind, that I am chatting to someone on the otherside of the planet. Poetry soup makes me feel these folks are in my neighborhood. Drake, you bring us even closer together.

Thanks to all for the words of encouragement. It will be a new experience for me. I am honored that Drake would even consider me for this priveledge. I hope some of you call in because that will make it that much more fun and certainly more interesting. The soup has become like a second family and you all are amazing!
