So, the contest filled to it's max submissions way sooner than expected!

A tremendous outpouring of talent from the PS community on my 1st contest in over 2 years! It was definitely time to post the winners, even though it was quite sooner than I intended.

I have to say. This winner's list could've been a bit different if I didn't come across a few very, very strong poems...but contained a few careless spelling errors.

We have all these options to spell check, syllable check, word count, etc., but I don't see it being used like it should. Use them for next time, please!

That said, here are the winners below (I'll be contacting the 1st place winner later this week to be a guest on my show for July 16th). THANK YOU TO ALL WHO PARTICIPATED:

Thanks for finding a place in your contest for my little poem, Drake. I knew that it had small chance in a "radio show" competition because of its brevity, but I appreciate your acknowledgement of its subtleties... Congratulations to all the winners!

Hey there, Deb! This was a very challenging contest to decide on. Moreso, because I don't do multiple placements (two 1st places, etc). Though, I understand why. :) Like I said in my comment to you, those last 2 lines brought it home. That's not an easy thing to do. Tremendous job!
