Challenging Week on PoetrySoup! Crashed Servers!

[UPDATE - Weds 7/22] - PoetrySoup servers had a complete operating system failure Sunday night.

We could not communicate with you because our email was on the same server.

Emailing is slowly coming back up, but we are working to resolve other, less critical, website functionality.

Virtually no sleep for 3 nights, but at least all of your wonderful poems were saved.

We still have work to do. Bear with us!

Thanks for saving our poems. Is there a way of backing up our poems so it is not lost? That way should it happen again we are safe.

Thanks for your diligence and hard work ... it is greatly appreciated! Tech is wonderful stuff when it WORKS, but can work like nothing else to turn your hair gray when NOT working ... it has helped to teach me patience. Blessings!

Servers, the bane of many a company. Just a thought, maybe PS should set up a totally different email address, copy the live ones over and use to send PS Members as many get worried, and it's only polite to inform them of what's happening. All they see is the site down :( If you already sent an email, I certainly didn't get it, kind regards, James :)
