To self: Today, be mindful of Time.
Time heals all wounds? I'm not sure that's completely true. To heal is to restore completely or make healthy again.
Time may help ease the pain, or may scar over the wound, but many pains don't completely disappear, ever.
But time allows pain to lessen. Teaches us how to tolerate it. Live and deal with it. Be more in control of it.
Time gives us lessons, if we allow ourselves to learn them. Time leads us to our "now." To today. To this month or this year. Whatever your "now" is. With time comes the wisdom that lets your now be all it, and you, can be.
To some, time is the enemy, so we spend lots of money combating it. Where pain is involved it can be our friend.
Regardless, it marches on. God knows.

Time
by D.A. Brooks
Tick, tock, tick, tock.
I hear the days march on.
Tick, tock, tick, tock
Those days are long since gone.
Of innocence and purity
And childhood games with friends
Of happy, laughing, giggling times,
and playtime without ends.
But now our time it slows and goes
and gives us mem'ries still
Of times when time flew oh so fast
'til now, when time's to kill.
... but, never to stand still.
... marching on and on until ...

"How did it get so late so soon?"
- Dr. Seuss
"There comes a time when the world gets quiet and the only thing left is your own heart. So you'd better learn the sound of it. Otherwise you'll never understand what it's saying."
- Sarah Dessen,
Just Listen
"For what it’s worth: it’s never too late or, in my case, too early to be whoever you want to be. There’s no time limit, stop whenever you want. You can change or stay the same, there are no rules to this thing. We can make the best or the worst of it. I hope you make the best of it. And I hope you see things that startle you. I hope you feel things you never felt before. I hope you meet people with a different point of view. I hope you live a life you’re proud of. If you find that you’re not, I hope you have the courage to start all over again."
- Eric Roth, The Curious Case
of Benjamin Button

Ecclesiastes 3:1-8...
For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven: a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted; a time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; a time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; ...
