Body Language

To self: Today, be mindful of Body Language.
I've rolled my eyes. Shrugged. Sighed. You name it. People tell me they can tell more about my mood and thoughts through my body than through my words.
Be aware of your overall response to a question, comment or situation.
Sometimes having a "poker-face" can be very useful and appropriate. So can a simple smile. God knows.

I really like this blog. I studied body language in school a bit and found it a fascinating topic. I think those with low emotional IQ's could benefit by studying this topic. I enjoyed the quotes as well.

Well, I am never comfortable with giving a poker face. It has always felt like deception to me. I prefer honest, though never intentionally hurtful or spiteful interaction. An honest, "Hey, that hurt me," I respect. Fake friendless or a Spock like lack of emotion gives me the willies. Friendly snarls are fine. Unfriendly snarls are not. Hidden snarls are to be avoided at all costs. Good blog. But people should never be fearful of expressing honest emotion.
