A quick easy poll here I hope you all participate in. Once again thank you in advance for your time. Question: Are you right or left handed ? I'm interested in finding out how many left handed poets we have.

Believe this or not, Eric...I am right-handed but left-footed!...What the heck does that make me?? I grew up playing soccer in school and was a 'stricker' and mid-fielder as well...I was always the most comfortable playing the left side and had a 'killer' left-foot shot...(bragging here of course) - Tim

Right handed writer--I was born a lefty but my mother trained me to write with my right instead as she though it would be easier in life for me. I still throw with my left though like Andrew. Karen

They call me "Righthanded" But I use both hands for many things such as painting houses OR pictures, playing pool, cooking, driving, etc. SMILES, Dane Ann

I am both, Eric. When I write I use my right hand. If I throw a ball or anything for that matter, I can use my left hand as well! So you see, in case my right hurts, I have my left to cover me! Isn't it nice to have good use of both hands? It may sound funny, but it is!!!! I am rubbing it in to make you guys smile! Thanks for your Informal Poll....it cracks me up! God bless and smile. Right-handed. Will be interesting to see how many responses you get. I seem to have a problem getting folks to give me their birthdays so I can add them to the calendar. As a matter of fact, I don't have yours ... smile ... just the day/month as the year is never shown. Thanks for the poll, Eric!

A little of both. Pick up with left and fransfer to right. Use a bat either way. Steering wheel mostly left handed. Writing right handed. agape, Moses

Interesting, I am actually right handed but can use my left equally as well, thanks to a broken right arm, a few years back, I had to adjust and in truth I write better with my left hand, because I write slower and with more care. People often ask me, so you are left handed, no I say, well you are using your left hand, Oh, so I am.. ha ha .... So, I guess I am both... lol... that is so wierd ..... Constance

I am right handed, Eric. Did any of you see that forwarded e-mail that was going around lately, that challenged you to do this little test? (called SMART FOOT)........Sit at your computer, and circle your right foot clockwise. Now try to draw the number six in the air with your right hand. It will make your foot change direction in most cases....the brain doesn't allow us to do otherwise!! It's a funny test, but it does work!

I am right handed. It is impossible for anyone to read anything I write with my left hand - even I can't do it.

Sorry to disappoint u Eric but a "south paw" I am not.. I am right handed ... but I think my left hand has a lot to do with creating poetry... a neat survey Eric..its usually politics .. and I know u have lots to say about that subject.. always enjoyable..luv.. I'm right handed. My father was left handed, but was known to have done some things with his right hand as well - so he was ambidextrous

I was born left handed but the theory as I grew up was that being left handed was wrong and the teachers forced me to write with the right hand. Today I still favor my left hand in any other activities (eating, sports etc) but I hold the pen with my right hand. I am a lefty :)

Oh, geez, is it's the old "left handers are the creative ones" theory. haha. I have a left handed daughter who is a pretty good poet, if that helps! I am right handed and probably TOO much left brained! Andrea
