GOD FORGIVES EVERYONE? Why not? did He not create us? Does He have to admit mistakes? If One is omnipotent it's OK And better is better than Good

I want to thank you all for your comments, it gratifies me that this site exists along with the people that are part of it. I must admit that as the world progresses or regresses depending on your view, I find that I need to check my moral compass from time to time. I see from the well thought out responses that I am correct in seeking wisdom here. It reaffirms that good still resides in this world and for that I thank you all. Your comments are insightful as well as very interesting and will continue to fuel the engines of thought and creativity. Well done, keep it up. Eric

To answer you question specifically, we all, at least, to some extent, reap on this linial scale, from the seeds everyone sows. The incentive to do good is, that if good seeds are sown, good for all is what is reaped. If bad seeds are sown, then the reverse is reaped. The hell on earth is an example of that. Now, I did not answer you question as a point of argument of your point. You asked the guestion, I assumed the field was open for discussion. Argument, of points of view are a waste of everyone's time, but honest discussings with genuine respect for each other is beneficial. Sincerely, Moses Ps. you are offered some genuine honest comments by others here. It is your choice.

Our fears delegate more of our actions than our love. This is why there is no religious discussions in public schools. We keep them from knowing and accepting each other we can still have wars and keep the population under control. I believe that each of us must find our own understanding within ourselves. What is right for you may not be right for me. If I believe out of fear, I may as well not believe at all. I do believe the sicerity of the request will play a role in the end. God Bless. (Hey! I said it again! Lookout, I might get struck by a liberal). Have a great day, Eric. Vince

I'm thinking devine forgiveness is sort of automatic since the qualities of good, bad, right, wrong, evil, etc.,are added to data only after it is recognized by man's mental processing faculties. I've long known that evil exists only in the human mind; and therefore assume all the other qualities reside there exclusively, as well.

I've got another piece of beef jerky for some to chew on ;-) If they are forgiven, after a lifetime of sin and/or evil, what happens to those of another faith who do good works all their lives - Are they not permitted into the "kingdom of heaven" because they're not the "right" faith?

There is none, you're absolutely right. The only thing left to question is does God forgive everyone, the assumption from which we all have a free pass to do acts of evil and be automatically forgiven for. If he doesn't forgive everyone you'll have to come up with alternative assumptions, like maybe he doesn't forgive everyone because he's a angry judgmental God and then only select few can be forgiven based on their good deeds. Personally my alternative is that God is incapable of forgiving because it implies he had to condemn first and then forgive and God is incapable of condemnation. Since we certainly are capable of that, the incentive then comes from a desire to return to him and his understanding of complete unconditional love and blissful peace. If you're not already in a similar state then you won't be able to handle a love this powerful and all encompassing enough to make the universe of hate and fear completely vanish. Being good can help you prepare for this transition.
