Much in Many Forms

I am a horrid user or paints.  I so wish I might have been able to sing or play piano...
But, I am a decent writer.  And, I can draw.  I finally figured out how to put up one of my illustrated poems on here.  “These Ladies I Draw.”= Check it out, please.  Visual art is a whole half of my creative life.  I illustrate most of my writing.  I try, anyway.
***I is my observation that so many poets on here hold great love for other creative genre...or have a great interest or love to be shared with poetry.  In this, I include a love of God and found purpose in matters of the spirit/soul.  I have seen so much enthusiasm, unabashed excitement for our triune God, for hope and promise in people I have met here.  There is no lack of crediting God as a poet’s certain path of inspiration.
I set this blog up today, because I am so eager to further discover our multi-faceted poets/diamonds among whom we are here growing.

Please relate what other arts or special interests you have!  I know of painters and mathematicians, music lovers, etc.  For me, there is drawing, classic radio. Cave art, human psychology, and (greatest)
Our dear ABBA.
Later, as I know more...I will have to disclose the members of my heavenly booster club, sine so few in person cheer my creative efforts.  For now, let’s reveal: Puccini, Degas, and my Grandma Shank.  Do you sense your booster club, too?
Keep those pens busy!

Music is first-and-foremost for me and always has been. I have been playing multiple instruments for many years, toured in bands from the age of 19, own a recording studio, and am producing an album now for a major label, (under my moniker). I love photography, love to draw and paint, (some of my drawings are in my PS photos), am taking up pastels recently, and love science, math, medicine, gems, sports, astrophysics, and many other things. I am also a pharmacist and a diamontologist, and have only been writing poetry since joining The Soup, though I've always loved it!

Suer to read of all your interests, like me, it’s enough for several more lifetimes. Pastels are my first artistic love. I read then learned by copying Degas.

Ah, subjective is art, whether it's Mona Lisa in smile, Sistine Chapel's Adam & Eve, or Dalí's surreal melting Camembert watches. -Richard

Hi, Sally. I am a Christian and I have written many poems inspired by my faith and the Bible. I am an avid reader (mostly Christian suspense/romance) I love music but have no musical talent at all. I do a lot of crocheting and some counted cross stitch. I always wished I could draw, but no talent there. I do have a granddaughter who is a talented artist (she's in high school). Nice to meet you! Blessings, Kim M
